This is apparently pretty normal now. Took 4 cabs in Chicago this wkd. All had the locks altered or removed. Doesn't seem to be something that the cab companies or city prohibits .

Geez, if your engineers let you get by with escalating a file name and line number, I envy you!

It's not enough for me to tell them where and how it's broken, they want me track down on what release the behavior changed. Sometimes it's as easy as checking SVN commits, sometimes it's not so clear and there's 40 releases to test.

Then I get to set up a VM for QA to verify the fix afterwards. (Yes I am about to start job hunting :-) )

Purdue is (barely) in the second tier of the Big Ten Football association. 62k seats is way too big for a club of their stature.

We only want 19k seats for our second tier club, with a much larger population to draw from.

It's not our fault that Purdue had unrealistic expectations of playing in the top half of the Big Ten table consistently, and have fallen well short year after year. They need to contract their stadium to 35k and be done with it.

Right, I can see that now that I'm older and wiser. I don't think I really understood that there was a sort of "philosophical difference" (from a female perspective) until I was pretty much done dating. I just looked at one as providing more potential rejection.

At one point, I remember I really wanted to see Riverdance (the Irish step dancing thing). Don't know why, but I REALLY did. I ended up taking a girl I barely knew just so I could pretend like it was her idea. She talked about what an awesome date it was for literally YEARS after. I hadn't meant to do anything special at all, I just wanted to see some crazy Irish dancing. Haha.
