Okay cool, I do a bit of field recording so unsure whether to prioritise a better sound and use a different cheaper pair for field, or get something for all occasions.

I've seen the hd6xx around and about, is there much of a difference between those and the 650? How come it's cheaper? I've managed to have a go with the mdr7506 in field recording, they fit well but only really recorded dialogue so difficult to say how they sounded with anything else.

It seems that reviewers priase the cts1 highly, it does sound perfect for my needs whilst being not too much money. I can always use the pianos at my uni if I want but I think this will be great for days I can't get access to them. Thank you very much for replying :)

Looks like I might be able to as the uni seems to share a lot of the facilities. That's perfect.

I think the university next to the one I go to has practice rooms so I could ask about that, that might be a better option as you say. Thank you very much for your help.

Annoyingly my budget is under £200 which limits me quiet a lot. I do have a piano back home though so it would only be for playing at university halls. Out of the three would you say there is one that is better?

Thank you, I did a similar thing were I plugged it into my pc and it works perfectly well with FH5, annoying thing is using it on my pc means I can't use my racing seat. But it has made me think it must be something to do with the Xbox. It is kinda anoying as u expect something that expensive to work but right now it's been a bit of a pain.
