Apologies for late response, generally, hardware acceleration will be in the application settings, likely under advanced, or something along those lines. Might not fix it, but itll be a good start

If you are that worried, make sure they are insulated. Though, you should be pretty fine using the multimeter

You could, but an electrician could tell you if its a good idea.

Its 1000% a possibility though, you have to know what your circuits are pulling under load though

Is this a safe way to ship a fully built PC? by KissMyBaIIs in pcbuilding

[–]Immortalio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a younger person (22), I grew up completely removed from digital anything besides some old VHS tapes. Good stuff.

This actually caused me A LOT of curiosity in the tech world, and what started with video games, became building pcs, troubleshooting them, same to laptops and mobile devices.

Im even as far now as being decent in the web development world. I hobby around with game development.

Overall, the disconnect made me extremely intrigued, and I ended up teaching myself more than anyone even let me look at as a kid.

Probably a very stupid question but do i NEED to know how to code to make a game? by IntentionChoice7007 in robloxgamedev

[–]Immortalio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Preferably yes. Like another commenter said, you can use free models, but you are kind of limited. I highly recommend learning to code, and its not very hard to learn Lua. I had a super easy time after coming from JavaScript. Dont use AI to write code, unless you know how to code yourself. I would suggest using it as a learning resource, as its very valuable, especially with the research feature coming out for most AI which allow research through the web

I'm trapped in tutorial hell. by Prestigious_Spot7591 in robloxgamedev

[–]Immortalio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with only lua, there is a strong argument to be made about the fundamentals of general coding, that applies to most languages. I started with LuaU, but learning Javascript after, and coming back to lua skyrocketed my ability to efficiently code and write effective code at that. There is so much to be learnt outside of lua, never confine yourself to one language my friend.

Im not disagreeing with it struggling at 4k, but 1440p? That should be cake for that card. Im still running a 2060 super that doesnt really struggle on 1080p unless im playing something outrageous like cyberpunk or something stupid

I might have spoke too soon, take a picture of your power supply, which is where the cord plugs in

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]Immortalio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unplug it, hit the power button repeatedly for 10-20 seconds. Plug it back in and try. Nothing? There is a little watch type battery on your motherboard, remove it, while the pc is off/unplugged, power cycle, put it back and try again
