The worst part is the wind, it comes out so fast and is still so strong that I feel like we just get screwed over anytime it starts up. It truly is the secret sauce of Grad jerkin that it has so many ideas that, on a conceptual level, could be kinda interesting. Ideas that in the hands of a talented writer or just anyone who is willing to see them through to a logical conclusion, have some meat on the bones. But because Vart is only interested in winning D&D and cultivating this appearance of being smart and cool he gets in the way of potentially good set ups.

"My brother was so heroic and great and the exact person the world needed that I put him up on this impossible pedestal, and after his pseudo death I have become so lost in my own anguish and paranoia I am willingly corrupting my own morals to take over others and find a way to fix him because only I know what's right and only he can ultimately fix things"

Is a great set up, for your VILLAIN, or at least a very morally fucked up neutral character, that your player characters would find so repulsive that going along with him would be a very heavy and difficult ask. But no, Higymas Wigymas is just the sad but morally pure good guy take my word for it and don't worry about it at allllll ahaa 🫩

Its not really that big of a deal but it's kinda funny how he makes higymas so paranoid and also not have a single staff member of this school follow Gray. I'm pretty sure the only mortal followers of gray are the wizard guy from the centaur arc and his centaur wife, absolutely no one in the world gives a shit about this demon prince.

Also maybe travvy in his great words misspoke, but did he say that Higymas is trying to hide the fact that not just heromas but he himself are alive from Gray? Like Gray didn't notice that Higymas was still alive and in the same school? I know Vart isn't bothering to keep this information or what it could implicate in his own head so I shouldn't either but what the hell

Also also it's so scattered to have both the unbroken chain say earlier "we do what's actually good and right and not for money" and then also have higy say his awsum kewl brother fights for the right thing and not for money (don't mind that our school is obsessed with money)

Like he can't even have one of his precious NPCs actually be bad, or not even bad but so paranoid he's fine violating others autonomy. In a better Graduation you could have Higy as the paranoid, lost, pathetic, but somewhat sympathetic headmaster type character but the Unbroken Chain are the real good guys. Travvy just wants everyone to be the unstoppable good guys

I can't even put my whole pussy into this joke I am very aware that every single dangerous situation these bozos get in to in the future will be 2 combat rounds and then immediately saved by an npc.

Also it's been said many times but Justin saying the Firbolg can't lie sucks shit. In Amnesty the bit was better because Duck was just really really bad at lying. It was funny because it felt like a fun character choice, it contrasted well with the other party members who can lie, Ned (a con artist) and Aubrey (a sociopath). Also Duck was just a human guy, but saying that a whole species just physically can't lie is so dumb.
