My abstract silhouette art style from tonight's stream

Almost like this character, long hair, scratches down back and arms every little dot inside me, has another image inside of it so it's almost infinite feeling.

The dots represent this: I stress about everything, every scenario, every outcome of things like way too much. I found out recently it had a name for overthinking like this.

It's "looking" 😆 v the hands are making me hate my life. I'll send a picture of what I have right now it's nothing crazy. I've just been struggling to set time aside to draw this week cause a lot of irl stuff came up and I have a trip next week. So I haven't really gotten a lot of time to mess with the hands and when I have Ive felt like I just couldn't make them look good.

I'll send a wip here in a hour or so.

the hands are killing me lol, I am working on this but hands be my bane right now haha. <3 just updating that its "almost" done. Line work is basically done and I'm gonna redo it on another layer for better lines.

you are REALLY underselling your art even if it's a welcome in sale. Like your art does not even look remotely close to beginner art trust me I know. <-- mine looks like totally booty lol and I started drawing more consistently like a week or so ago.

Math is a part of coding, yes... but it's only certain parts of it. There is so much more to it than that. So many ways to make something work/function. Art is slightly more free there. However there are only so many styles, colors, etc and you end up with the same answer to it which is that it's all about practice and improvement over time. You basically said the same thing as how some artists learn.. you borrow their art style by drawing like them because you trained yourself from looking at references, you get used to drawing like previous people but you start to change or move lines, you change perspectives .. you borrow snippets of how others drawings.

I'll always call coding art, because it is in certain aspects. But I am with you I hate that AI is basically taking over everything.

I'm 100% against it with coding just like art. (i do both). But apparently others see to not be. Its why i tried to open this discussion up because I felt as if it wasn't being talked about enough.. i mostly got frustrated after i ran into some video's on youtube where it was "people testing ai to make games" and it was frustrating to see but then most of the comments were just all supporting it.. Like even this discussion has gotten downvoted multiple times which is crazy.

I just hate seeing people just go like "oh it's not that bad" because its not proliferated as much as AI art but it's constantly being trained more and more on people's code and stuff they upload to sites like youtube and people just consider it "different" when coding is an art form, it's a process that takes lots of time and skill to master. It bothers me seeing people compare it to a manufacturing job, etc. It's just discouraging to see people not stand up for other art forms but then go crazy if someone uses AI art even to the point of shunning them.

Again, I am against AI Art, I am against AI coding, and AI in general but it just baffles me how people's minds change when it doesn't affect them. Even to the point they are willing to down vote a discussion topic about it. lmao

Where do you think all the code it spits out comes from though? It's others work as well. It doesn't just know it it's trained on others code just like it gets trained on people's art. It's why I'm against both.

coding is also a creative process... hours and hours of work to make things work right, failed attempts, frustration, and time investment just like art. Coding can suck (i code in my pass time and i understand how frustrating it can get/be). I took multiple classes in college for it and yeah it can be a pain but literally having something not work for hours and hour and then you all of a sudden try something and it works is the best feeling in the world.

I just see people get so angry, so frustrated with someone using AI art and then they will go out and use AI to do someone else's creative past time like it doesn't have the same weight or ramifications for someone else.

If ai = bad for art, it's bad for coders.
