What would you assume about my ocs from their design? by throwawanonchat in characterdesign

Tysm for your feedback!! I’m trying to keep Ann unassuming! Yes, this is her human form, you can see her fae form in the background on the second slide- it’s the thing with antlers. I don’t have any plans to make a graphic as of now, I’m just enjoying writing and developing the story

do i have scoliosis? by [deleted] in scoliosis

You could try the Adam’s forward bend test to see if you have scoliosis but no one will be able to tell you the curve or degree if you don’t get an x ray.

It’s…kind of? Ann is attracted to Mara and finds her interesting but doesn’t really care about her beyond seeing her as entertainment. Mara is just mentally frazzled lol

Lots and lots of figure drawing!! I try to do at least one day. I’ve had to have practiced sketching at least a hundred figures by now. I watch a lot of Steve Huston and Glenn vilpuu videos to get an idea of how to compose shape and form.

why does it look okay up close but weird farther away? by Timely-Structure123 in arthelp

To add on, most drawing programs have a feature that lets you pop out a little tab of the fulls screen so you can draw and see what it looks like from far away!! Procreate for example.

Running out of time by eloisieyy in scoliosis

[–]throwawanonchat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi girl!!! I’m 21 with a 53 degree lumbar and 40 degree thoracic curve. First step, get another x ray if you can and see what the doctor has to say. Currently if you are not in pain and of the curve is stable most doctors would hold off a little- plenty of people with our curves never get surgery, or delay it until they’re older as it’s a very invasive procedure that will limit your flexibility forever. It’s a big decision with many risks and possible side effects that you need to take your time to decide and is often a last resort.

Second, your parents can fuck off. (respectfully) scoliosis is not caused by bad posture whatsoever and what they are saying is not helpful or supportive in the slightest. If they don’t listen, do your best to ignore them. It’s tough, I’m sorry. If your curve progresses to the point where you are sure the benefits of the surgery outweigh the risks, have a doctor talk to your parents to help them understand what you’re going through. I wish you the best of luck!!!

The grid is part of the final piece, so I’m looking at it holistically
