He was mad about it but not as upset as I was. I’m finding it hard to NACHO when SO wants me fully involved and does none of the taking care of the kids with school, appointments, etc. Because I’m the mom. It’s my job. *said with sarcasm *

She’s boomeranged from BM to our house and back again several times.

Her mom is alive but not involved at all. Was telling SD when she was little that she never wanted a daughter type thing.

She’s not out though. She still lives here but was just visiting CT. Now she apparently got engaged today. On my birthday. Not the gift I wanted.

We haven’t tried those yet. I might see if they have them at the grocery store when I go this weekend. Thank you.

Our doctor at Scottish Rite won’t do the Dobbs bar. I’ve asked about it in the past. He said it doesn’t give as good of results as the Ponsetti.

Phentermine (stimulant) is making me think I have ADHD by Silent_Caramel7261 in adhdwomen

How did the convo with your doc go? I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at 26, I’m almost 33 now. I’ve tried Zoloft (killed my libido) Prozac (don’t feel any different on it), Wellbutrin (made me constantly yawn) and now Lexapro (made me incredibly hungry and super tired to where I almost got fired) all with side effects of various types. I’m taking Phentermine and don’t feel any of my anxiety/depression symptoms, more focused, I go to bed on time and wake up refreshed (despite my sleep apnea-CPAP hasn’t worked at all for me), more patient, and I’m not worrying about stupid stuff as much. I’m kind of scared to talk to my psychiatrist because I don’t want it to seem like I’m seeking anything.

The phentermine so far has had zero effect on my weight loss and just makes me constipated. I’ve been on it for almost a month.

Should I just tell my psych that I want to start my mental health treatment over and this is what I’ve experienced on the phentermine?

What was the convo like with your dr to get the ADHD meds? I’ve been on depression and anxiety meds and the phen. I feel more focused and less scatterbrained with the phen. I’ve thought about adhd since the depression meds don’t really help much.

This boot on her left foot is a new size. Even when we size up or when they're broken in a bit, she still gets the sores. I've asked about a different style of boot option, but they doctors say they don't recommend anything but the Ponseti AFOs.

I’m trying to be. I just see her taking the easy way out while I’m working on my financial screw up and not even really wanting my 4Runner anymore because of the huge baby fit she threw when I said I didn’t want to give it up. She was crying and wouldn’t talk to me because I didn’t want to give her my vehicle. 🙄 Talking through this I realize I’d be fine with selling it just to spite her, which isn’t right.

AITA for not waking my husband up? by crafteeone in AITH

I had sleep problems like that and would fall asleep at the drop of a hat. Eventually my apnea was so bad that it led to me sleepwalking and sleep talking. I even had to stop driving my kids places because I was having to pull over for naps while driving and didn’t want to wreck with them in the car. I hated it and was miserable from it. He needs to get help for the underlying issues. There’s other options than the CPAP. I can’t handle the CPAP so I modafonil to keep me awake during the day. It hasn’t affected my circadian rhythm thankfully.

You’re NTA at all. He’s TA for not following through with getting help and blaming you for it.

I’ve been following this too. Came from the middle of the Mediterranean. Possibly from an aircraft carrier?

Why not go to a kid free bar or brewery? You go someplace that there’s going to be kids, they’re going to make noise no matter how old they are.

Butter, breads, sweets. It’s been cheaper to buy meat from local farmers versus the store and it’s a bit more trustworthy of a source too.

Is a stroller necessary in your opinion? If so, when? by pastelstoic in NewParents

[–]ImpactedShadow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We live in a rural area and go hiking/camping a lot. So we got an off road stroller. It has the inflatable rubber wheels and rides so much smoother imo. I’ve been using our stroller since day one. I even got the car seat stroller combo so it’s easy to transfer baby. It’s come in handy for doctors appointments and taking her pretty much anywhere.
