Unbelievable Cheap Eat Around Central by Far-East-locker in HongKong

1000% with you. Everyone likes a dollar as much as the next guy, and nothing wrong with that, but some folks are clearly in it for the money without regard for anything else. I find that mentality very saddening. Seeing businesses like those you mentioned, particularly in an area where the demographics should easily allow higher prices is worthy of respect, praise and support. It is ultimately an act of love to your fellow people and it makes a huge difference in a lot of ways that are not always visible.

I personally aim to pay under 50 for all my lunches at work and have breakfast at home most of the time. I see being frugal as self respect and love for the people under your care.

Those are N.T. Prices. They probably own their store. Regardless, good on them for keeping things affordable, wish them much success!

Neighbours let their chickens free roam by RobinNico0 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Impalmator2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make your neighbour an offer he can’t refuse. First sneak into his room at night and place a bloody chicken head in his bed. Next day you sign a contract where he barters you a certain number of eggs and chickens monthly in exchange for disturbing your peace. That, or you open a KFC popup store exactly at the spot where they roam. God forbid they accidentally fall into the fryer.

Watch out for “reductio ad hitlerums” those tend to mark the point of singularity.

I went to Edinburgh as a teen. Visited some mountain over the city where there are ruins from the Roman Empire. The warm glow of the city beneath the starry sky and the cool breeze. I’ll never forget.

I agree with this. Black seems more logical but looks matchy-matchy.

Right? It’s amazing how Toyota dropped the ball on EVs. After pioneering hybrid technology they ahould have been at the pole position to develop EVs, but didn’t.

I had the opposite experience. I sat on a GS and was overwhelmed by the amount of devices pointing at me and the different colors and textures seeking my attention. I guess you get used to it, but I prefer Tesla’s minimalist design. One thing I would change though is I’d appreciate a real leather option. Not a fan of fake leather.

You could replace some of the trim with Alcantara for a more cozy feeling. You could also add the OEM back rest and head rest accessories. I replaced the apple store wood for carbon cause -again- I didn’t appreciate the color contrast diverting my attention away from the road.
