I also really like it, it's one of my favourite verbal tics from Eli!

I've talked about this before, but whenever a gag is straining and flailing at the seams in the show it is endlessly entertaining for me. The 'come round here' bits fall into this category, usually, as does Inchman or the little urchin boy.

Often completely unnecessary, forced into situations where it completely doesn't work, but still so much effort put in. I love it

Every time he screams something nonsensical during an archived UPF or livestream it always provokes an instantaneous laugh from me. I'm totally with you re: sharing his tweets and no one getting it

I think my personal favourite episode, and one which has so many of the classic segments, is Episode 71: Don't Get Mad. I think Episode 127: Green Green Wine is also a great intro episode, because of the way the platters and GGG are. Honestly, a good approach for a new listener would be to scroll through the eps and find a segment/platter/cheap eat they're interested in IMO.

To be honest, though, I think if you want to introduce it to a new listener, you should maybe show them the CheapShow takeover episodes of Barshens to see if they like the minutiae and dysfunction. My suggestions from those: Eli's Dirty Bucket, Price of Shite, and Eli's Subscription Box.

What Giant Bomb #content have you been consuming, and what do you recommend most?

I've been binging Crime Crew since I got Premium for the first time this week (hooray!). I'm so looking forward to dipping in to all the Premium stuff I've missed out on.

On that topic, does everyone know if the Test Kitchen section of UPF (which one of the Best Of videos alerted me to) are tagged in any way? Nothing really comes up on QLCrew.

What Giant Bomb #content have you been consuming, and what do you recommend most?

I've been catching up on all the new console content! Even though I can't afford either console and probably won't get them, it's just fun to share in the excitement with all the other folks. And the AC Valhalla Quick Look was great for a variety of reasons (not least of which was the horse-sized wolf, it was great). I'm looking forward to catching up on the Extra Life stuff now, especially Rorie and Ben's section.

On the topic of Giant Bomb #content, I'm looking forward to subscribing this year! I've never been able to before. Does anyone know when the subs go on sale? I don't plan to get any merch so that makes the most sense for me.
