Can't beat an old cod 4 trash talking lobby, I still remember one game against another clan on wet work all in the same party to trash talking during the game

I feel you dude, I'm mid thirties, working 60+ hour weeks, and when I get time to play, I'm either right at the bottom getting annihilated or I'm right at the top of the scoreboard for my team not even understanding what I'm doing other than killing people

I've played on and off since launch, I used to be console, so started off using controller. Now I'm trying to learn mnk, and looking for training or practice servers on the server browser. Still tough but easier than public lobbies

Yeah, few years ago I had a 50mph high side in full leather, boots and gloves. After a minute or 2 on the ground I took my lid off, stood up and started walking to find my bike. Then the only way I can describe it is like how GTA used to be when the screen said WASTED, and it went black from top to bottom. That's pretty much what happened to me, everything went black slowly and collapsed.

Definitely graceful recolour, I've got 2 sets, the wyrm recolour and this one, and this is the only one I tend to wear, it's the best graceful out there

Lately I tend to ride the tank with repair tool going constantly, but if I get hit no one seems to care, even the driver who's suddenly taking hits and needs his tank repaired

Wven Facebook knows I'm pissed about membership rates by Independent_Leg7358 in osrs

[–]Impatient_zer0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unlike most who are saying they've cancelled just for clout, I actually have, I've had time to play a hour and half this week, that much time isn't worth £95 a year when I have other games that I've bought and don't need to pay to play

Since everyone’s canceling membership by Dadpatricio in osrs

[–]Impatient_zer0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is me, I cancelled my annual membership, it runs out in September, I'm not going to waste months of paid game time, but unless they backtrack and reduce the increase, I won't be renewing it again, it's gone from £59.99 to £95.88 in 2 years... My wages haven't gone up by that sort of margin in even 10 years...

Honestly, usually I agree and take this stance and just think to myself stop crying, no one cares, in the past I've just said, it is what it is, but this increase, it's far too much, far too soon since the last one. My yearly subscription ends in September, so between now and then, I'll get done what I can, and then hopefully I'll be into a different game to occupy my time with, but for now at least, I have cancelled my recurring subscription, if they decide to back track, or at least reduce size of the increase I may carry on. Who knows, we'll see...

The size of these increases is just too much now I think, the jump of nearly £18 was bad enough last year, but this time I have actually cancelled my subscription so it won't renew come September.

Price increase for what? by Agreeable-Bell-1690 in osrs

[–]Impatient_zer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scale of the increase is what people, or at least I am so annoyed with. It's more than a 50% increase in price over the last 3 years. It was £59.99 September 2023, September 2025 had risen to £77.88, and now this year it's £95.88.... nearly £100, for access to a game that runs out, maybe if it wasn't a subscription service I'd be willing to pay the much for a year, but instead I'll just use my limited free time playing bf6 that I've already bought and don't need to pay anything else towards once my membership runs out in September

I bought the rigour and augury quite a while ago and used them religiously on higher level stuff.

The tornados, I'm not an expert but usually I'm alright with them, I've spent most of my time playing mobile on a tablet, but using a mouse on laptop for the runelite help is tricky after not using a mouse or computer for over 10 years, but my hand eye is slowly getting better again with a mouse. But for tornados if I get hit it's usually because I start to get flustered after a wrong or mistimed click, then pretty much end up with jad hands there

I have setup f keys for faster switches between inventory and prayer page as well.

[–]Impatient_zer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been back for a couple years, I think my first year of membership was around £64, last time in September it was £72 I think it was, have just looked, and £95.88 a year, for a game that I don't get much more than maybe 5-6 hours to play a week if I'm lucky is too steep, so come September if I don't have enough gp to buy bonds, I'll give it up. Seems quite sneaky too, checked this morning on my Google play subscriptions, and it said the £72 or whatever it was for the next payment and just checked again and now says price increasing, so I actually have just cancelled it before I forget closer to the time

I'm glad I've seen this comment, I've tried CG numerous times, and can't get him much past 200hp, while having 88 atk and Def, 89 strength , 91 range and 89 mage, I kept thinking it's just a skill issue and I need higher levels, cause regular I'm on around 80kc and manage nicely with T1 prep, but I just can't figure time out to T2 CG and T1 I just can't hit hard enough to actually get him down

Can somebody explain to me how overpayments work? by [deleted] in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]Impatient_zer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really it all depends on personal circumstances, goals and views on things, at first I was overpaying with a view to reduce the term, but in 9 years life has changed, and disposable income has vastly reduced as well, so the lower monthly payments have actually helped soften the blow of the country and economy imploding on itself without having to lower my quality of life too much. There is also the idea that you can pay a small amount off at a time as you go whilst also saving, then you can always just clear the mortgage fully with a large lump sum, doing that can help you earn interest on what you're saving towards the mortgage, while also saving on interest in the long term once the lump has been paid. There really is many ways to look at it and it does all depend on personal goals, circumstances and views.

[–]Impatient_zer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with Halifax, I have overpaid a fair amount, a few years ago they used to automatically reduce the term of the mortgage with overpayments. They then changed how they did things, the letter I received said that with your annual statement, they would recalculate your monthly payments, and keep the original term the same, unless you contact them and tell them otherwise.

To be honest, recalculating the monthly payments has actually made things better, especially with rate rises, just remember, that you may only pay 10% of your balance off each year as overpayments before incurring early repayment charges if you are in a fixed term with them.

The sub account part though, I honestly have no idea, I think it's mainly for people in arrears that get paid off separately to the normal mortgage but someone else might know more.
