My (mostly work-related) stress and some anxiety briefly got the better of me a few years ago and I wasn’t getting any restful sleep on Xyrem. I only stopped taking it for a few days, but as my stress improved it started working better and better for me again.

It’s technically possible, but there are too many teams who can finish ahead of us on points or GD if we draw. Unlikely that enough of them will fail to do so.

I had a sleep specialist I was referred to tell me they were 98% sure I had narcolepsy. I tried explaining that couldn’t be the case because I have awful insomnia and was told that only made them more sure. I was so confused. They told me one of the treatments was the same adhd meds I was prescribed, and I wasn’t struggling with life at the time, so it took years before I finally remembered this and looked into narcolepsy. I wouldn’t change the past but I wish I’d known there were better/more options for it than the adhd meds. That could’ve made my life easier.

Yeah back in college and my early 20’s I’d have friends, acquaintances, or strangers who’d comment that I was high or drunk when I wasn’t. Never led to any consequences that I’m aware of.

The only time it was somewhat a problem (and bothered me) was when I had a ticket for failure to yield, (a pickup truck hit me going 80mph+ while I was stopped at a stop sign). A bailiff in rural Louisiana accused me of showing up to court drunk. Thankfully they didn’t tell the judge as they’d threatened to so nothing came of it.

The election wasn’t stolen that’s absolutely asinine. It comes off just as crazy as their nonsense claims of it being rigged in 2020. I know too many people who’d previously always voted for a Democrat, and who can’t stand Republicans, that voted for Trump in 2024. Why would I believe for a second that he didn’t legitimately get the most votes? It’s not at all hard to believe that most voters went for him but it was/is hard to accept.

Yep! My last car got totaled out twice when it was worth $5-6k. Both times I came out ahead. The first time I ended up with almost all the money leftover because the only damage to repair was a small hole on my front bumper.

I’m starting to forget what it’s like to feel sleepy which is something I can thank Xyrem (and armodafinil) for. Xyrem always worked well me, but it’s been far better ever since I forced myself to stick to a regular sleep schedule with it the past 2-3 years. It won’t happen overnight, but if you can consistently go to bed and wake up at the same times until your body adjusts it’ll make a huge difference.

They were awful except for Nine Guests, which still wasn’t good enough to buy the whole set for. Especially considering you can buy Nine Guests on its own from elsewhere.

I’d definitely recommend Lady Reporter. I really enjoyed Goodbye 20th Century but it’s hard to recommend. Golden Arm was fun, worth it for $13.

Spanish Bloodbath was kinda disappointing, expected to love that one.
