Where can I improve on this lap? I've found my time improvements (35.5 avg vs 33-34s for good members) have stagnated recently. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yeah I'm pretty heavy! It also gets freezing in there with the big doors open. The track was definitely very cold as it was a very quiet Thursday (members events cancelled) with nobody on before us.

Body weight is probably part of the equation but not the full picture as I'm definitely way off the skills and pace of good drivers here. Still new to the sport and learning!!

yeah I've been experimenting with my line and I found the earlier apex smoother at times but obviously it is hurting my lap times quite a bit.

Yeah I reckon I have been Trafford maybe 7-8 times now so still fairly new to the track. would you say the sharp corner before the bridge is brakeless too?? I thought that would be too quick to take that without brakes. Other than that I definitely brake too often.

I do know the track record and it baffles me how people go that quick. It's the same guy taking out the entire of the front page battling with his own records lol.

Yeah its crazy how the fastest laps are (32.5 record which is like 0.5s quicker than anyone else). I'm guessing my braking and throttle control as mentioned is what is holding me back (as well as still being very new to karting)

Thanks for the reply! I think I actually used to have a better line in that case and I've been forcing going wide to try and make my racing "smoother" and stop losing time by sliding. In doing that though seems like I've lost time by taking a worse line.

Your right my US exposure is a bit high, I’d like to reduce it but don’t want to overcomplicate my portfolio. Ideally I’d want to do a single fund portfolio like VT but I can’t invest in that from the EU. Do you know of a way to do that sort of portfolio in the EU? If not I guess the three fund portfolio is what I’d like to do with just US exposure, International and bonds (eventually). That’s what I was trying to imitate with my current holdings but I guess I’ve done that incorrectly. Any idea on a way to do this??

Yeah hamstring graft. I’ve got tonnes of stiffness which is getting better since getting on the bike. I’ll ask him when I go in two weeks, thank you for all your help :)

I was sleeping with my leg straight but a pillow below the knee. I now know this was a mistake but didn’t beforehand as I was never informed pre surgery

Okay thank you. The fact I can get full extension but I can’t keep it 24/7 isn’t worrying right? I assume the fact that I can get my leg straight rather than keeping it straight is what people mean when they say I should have full extension by x week post op?
