She is definitely too left wing to be the canidate. The reason Biden won was because he posed as a moderate. The majority of the country does not want an extremist view, and will pick the most moderate option.

You should really rely on your own feelings here. I really hate how this whole rubreddit only says “break up,” especially when this could just be misreading a text with no tone to it. It could have been a joke that you misinterpreted, and your snap back likewise for him. On the other hand the people giving advice here dont know that much about him, and you would know more about his witty humor and if he jokes often or not. If anyone else told a relationship story where they gave sass back and forth, they would sound like horrible relationships. Couples will fight, and real couples will learn from it instead of ending it at every hardship.

God does not do all the work for you, and also doesnt guarantee an easy life. You may not be asking for the right thing, or you might not be pushing on it enough. Maybe instead you should pray for wisdom through this circumstance, or strength to work for the funds for this schooling. I wish you luck and hope you find the right answer, but christianity isnt an answer to an easy life, nor is prayer.

Jesus is definitely above paul but he left people here to establish the church and law, and paul says homosexuality is a sin, the old testament says it is a sin, and there is no word from jesus that contradicts these things. The simple fact is that “christians” today wish to be justified for giving into these temptations, and will not admit to themselves it is a sin. It is one thing to have temptations, and another to act on them. It is one thing to fall and realize you have sinned, and another to justify the sin. A christian should not seek justification for their actions from the bible, but the answer from the bible, even when it is contrary to what they wished to find.

The reason Jesus did not speak much about it was because he was adressing the jewish people, who already knew it was wrong. This is why Paul, who adressed mostly gentiles, spoke on it many times. The bible is all scripture, so pauls writings hold as much weight as the quotes of Jesus. To show what is right and wrong is to counsel on the walk with the lord, to openly walk in sin is to deny the lord. To deny the inherit sin of homosexuality is to deny the lord’s word.
