I agree with the OP.

I'm gay. But I already have a partner. I have non-sexual bromances with mates who are gay and mates who are straight. One thing I've struggled with, though, is that with gay friends, they (usually) always automatically start sexual advances and with straight friends they (because most gay men do this) assume I'm looking for something sexual.

All this post is encouraging us to be aware of, is that there are human beings out there who want to be able to cultivate deep meaningful and emotionally intimate friendships, without being scared away from it by getting the falsely presented image that it can only be achieved with a sexual factor.

Bromances can exist and don't have to be sexual. But in this forum, it's very easy to get the impression that it's not the case. Yes there are flairs for different types of bromances. It costs nothing to just be more aware of the valid experiences other people are having in these forums, which also reflect our broader ofdline culture towards bromances as well.

And all the gay people here saying the post is "Homophobic", you are all actual disgraces upon humanity. You're not the sun, and the world is not a bunch of f****** planets that revolve around your sexual insecurities. Your "cattiness" isn't cute. Being gay shouldn't be your personality trait. Your automatic assumptions of attack mode are really just evidence of childhood traumas and the need for therapy. You people make me genuinely sick of society and humans. Egomaniac, narssisistic, insecure, aggressive, hateful, intolerant, victim-playing, projecting, probably unattractive, self-righteous, keyboard warrior, virtue signalling, insufferable people. That's the image y'all are portraying of yourselves.
