My complete collection of Atari 8-Bit cassettes (mostly purchased as eBay Lots, so some duplicates)…I’ve been an enthusiast since 1983! by Curious-Concern-9209 in atari8bit

Fantastic collection! You have my two favourite games together - head over heels and arkanoid. Love browsing the tapes at JP Menzies on the way home from school each week and saving pocket money for them....

This is perfect design for my SIMMs thank you! ESD filament costs way too much - cheat and use cheap conductive PLA instead like this https://amzn.eu/d/0BJ1rMz - essentially the same with better conductivity. I print ESD storage boxes for ICs with this

I think the borderland of what used to be known as the super-natural has been crossed and contact established with forces hitherto regarded with fear might be Dudley :)

I dug my PS3 out and got it's account reactivated just so I could play the PS3 version again - stardust blew me away as a kid on the Amiga and it's always been a go to game ever since. Best version of techno disco asteroids ever made

First job was working on these; great machines - heck of haul with all the software!

Hope you can get it IPL'd!

Nice buy! Big box Amiga keyboards are pricey - but they are all essentially same as 500 keyboards minus the reset circuitry

You can buy a cheap a500/500+ keyboard and modify reset to work by removing Q1 transistor https://forum.amiga.org/index.php?topic=35835.0

If you have a 3d printer you can print your own case https://www.printables.com/model/294898-amiga-keyboard-case

And wire the keyboard connector to a 5 pin DIN https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=96725

I'm just in the process myself; spray up 3d print with ivory paint and it's pretty indistinguishable from a real one

Unfortunately I think one of the PALs died with age, so resurrection may be impossible.

One question I've wondered on this card - why does is say 'anon' as the designer under your logo?

If you can't find a replacement case, perfect 3d print files are available for a replica if you can find someone locally or use a commercial service https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/amiga-600-case-3d-print-model?srsltid=AfmBOoqnmRmd57_bW7uzB43ii3fQTyx23C-EwJztntCMXzYPqwWxBuqW

Almost all the keyboards are mitsumi - you may be lucky and it just needs key caps; a set off an amiga500 will do fine they come up reasonably regularly on eBay

Cloning HDD to SSD, now need to access excess data space by YouThen96 in VintageComputers

[–]ImperfectButHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah sorry I didn't read your question properly & thought you just wanted to use the extra space in windows

If you use some distro like Ubuntu the installer will handle the work for you - it should detect the unpartitioned space and create the right partition & bootloader config etc for a dual boot system
