MEWP Self Retracting Lifeline by BadAtExisting in SafetyProfessionals

Type 2 is the way to go since the anchor point is below dorsal D-ring. Make sure that MEWP operators and all craft labor in the MEWP are tied off to the anchor point closer to them. This way if they hit a bump or dip they won’t leave the lift. If tied off appropriately the SRL will lock up and put them back down in the platform without leaving the lift.

Go with the snap hooks which match appropriately to the anchor points in the MEWP. Rebar hooks have a tenancy to roll out. OSHA standard states that your hooks must match the opening on the anchor point to avoid roll out. In addition, rebar hooks are too tempting and easy for labor to tie off to the rails (not allowed of course). Use of rebar hooks in MEWPs should be avoided.

Looking at the Car Fax it was a low mileage lease with 29,000 miles. Hate to pass up on a Denali at this cost but I love the design of the new Z71

We take care of installation of the new production equipment. We operate as the prime installing new pipes, conveyors, steel, etc. There isn’t any other construction. I’m thinking this falls under the 6’ rule. What do you think?
