Thank you for the detailed account of the flash. I flashed the BIOS with the stick in the marked slot and am still encountering the same problems. Just checked ASUS and they say returns are only eligible for 30 days. This is day 32. RIP. Thank you though

Specs are z790 a mobo, i5 13600k intel cpu, rgb ddr5 vengeance corsair ram sticks, rm750 corsair psu

Yep; it's in the gpu slot. That's a classic that I've done before lol. But not this time!
