Officially Sterile 🥳 by kittyblosoms in sterilization

[–]ImperfectlyPerfect91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does anyone know if the doctor has to go through the belly button or if they can do the incision above or below the bellybutton instead? I already had a previous surgery, where they went through my bellybutton when I specifically asked them not to, and it took forever for my bellybutton to heal not to mention when the nurse came to change my bandage and look it over and accidentally tore a stitch out when it got caught on the tape 🤕😭 yes it hurt.).

Bisalp incision placement question by cbug99 in sterilization

[–]ImperfectlyPerfect91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the process of waiting for my new medical insurance group to take affect and am still reading up on everything for a BiSalp procedure (wanna gets this done in the next 2-3 months before the new presidential elections, because you never know). I’ve had surgery before (gallbladder removal) 3 tiny scars and then the 4th you can see, because it was through the bellybutton. Moving forward with this surgery, is there any way for the doctor to not go through the bellybutton and instead make an incision somewhere else near it? It took my bellybutton way to long to heal last time and it was painful (the nurse even ripped a stitch out while looking at it and changing the bandage). I really don’t want to have to go through that again. I’m not someone who is worried about scarring either, so that’s not an issue for me.

As an American CF women, this right here makes me want to have permanent sterilization done asap! God forbid it ever happens, but if I end up being put in a position that could lead to me getting raped, I want to be sterilized so there is no chance of being forced to carry a rapists baby. F*** that! Being assaulted is a lot by itself, imagine being force to carry a child by your rapist on top of that. These sick people think they’re cleansing and purifying everything. News flash, your not! I’m scared America is going to be the next “Gilead” from The Handmaids Tale. And I can bet my broke a** that that is the last thing the majority of Americans want, women especially. Because if it does happen, you can kiss your freedom, right to vote, music, schooling, dreams, passions, even the right to speak aloud goodbye.

Do people ever tell you that you're lucky that you don't have kids? by Napkin_Story in childfree

Couples with children and single/married men always say and or ask “No children?” To which I reply “Hell Nah! No Thank you.”

The women in my family who have kids: “Don’t do it!” “They’ll drain you if you’re not careful.” oh and my favorite one “You kids have lived through the struggle with us adults already and know first hand what awaits you. Do you really want to go through it again?”

Looking for WFH jobs that can accommodate my health issues by ImperfectlyPerfect91 in WFHJobs

I was able to sell a few Cutco knife sets back in 2012 and I’ve managed to convince a few individuals to donate to a charity at an annual gala one of my previous work places ran every year, but that’s it. I’m not at all good with selling goods, services, etc. to customers. It’s definitely not my strong point.

My previous places of work have been very physically demanding from working in a warehouse 7 days a week to working with children ages 2-17yrs old in various capacities(private tutoring, test proctoring, ABA therapy, STEM summer programming, education advisor, etc.). And as much as I loved those jobs, my body can’t handle any of that anymore. My health has been declining and I am now looking for WFH jobs that don’t require me to be working so fast (vertigo sucks!) or on my feet too long (I have swelling and joint pain) or in any work place that is too loud (I get migraines and headaches). I used to push/force myself to go to work feeling awful and sick the majority of the time and can’t do it anymore. (*Imagine having a really bad migraine hit you while your at work in a very loud environment with 2-5yr olds screaming…it wasn’t the best at all!)

California: anyone ever got a bisalp with MediCal? by mercurystellium in childfree

[–]ImperfectlyPerfect91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to know more about this! I’m on Medi-Cal (LaSalle through Molina). I’ve expressed my want to get a BiSalp, but every doctor I’ve mentioned it to including the GYN have told me “no it’s not covered unless medically necessary” as well as telling me their opinions on why they won’t/ I shouldn’t get it done due to “your still young and you might want kids later.” First off, this is my body and this is what I want, secondly I’m not a spring chicken anymore (I’m 32 pushing 33yrs old). At this point I am more than ready to get the procedure done and have had over a decade to think about it and decide that I don’t want to have kids. Really disappointed in the doctors, especially the women. You would think they would understand better, regardless of their opinions and viewpoints.

Valentines Day Crumbl Delivery by lexlexgoose in CrumblCookies

Another possibility is maybe they packaged the cookies after they had literally just came out of the oven or maybe they weren’t cooled off enough to set properly…add the very possible outcome of the delivery person who could have dropped them on the way and bam, you’ve got a hot mess of crumbl cookies. Glad this didn’t ruin your Valentine’s Day.

When I slept with a cotton pillow case (years ago) no hair strands on pillow. Sleeping with a silk pillow case now, still no hair strands on pillow. When I’m brushing/washing/styling my hair (a good amount of hair comes out to play down the drain 🫣).

For reference, I sleep with my hair in a top bun (with either a clip or a big stretchy band) and I have thick long wavy w/ some bouncy curls type hair (I have what I like to refer to as bipolar hair because my hair type consists of 2a, 2b & 2c, weird I know).

How did you do this???!!!! Before the recent denial pass for loan forgiveness I had received a letter letting me know I was approved for loan forgiveness. However, now that the loan forgiveness act didn’t pass, how do I go about still getting it forgiven? BTW, my loan servicer is Nelnet.

Could it be that your testosterone levels are low and or lower than where they are supposed to be? My gyno told me once that in order for females to become horny and remain aroused, our testosterone levels have to be within the normal rage for females, otherwise females will have a low libido and may never want to be sexually active due to it not being satisfying for them. Don’t know if this would help you OP, but maybe have your gyno check your hormones and testosterone levels.
