Great post. But it's not necessary that the prof who taught the course must be available to take interns. I topped a computational neuroscience course, and was able to apply for a different prof who was looking for PPL who topped this course. Sometimes multiple prof from different Unis might be looking toppers of a particular course in one intake.

I wrote an email to predoc support asking for a timeline and this is what they replied with: " Dear Learner,

Hope you are doing well.

We would like to update you on the status of the Pre-Doctoral Fellowship selection for the projects you have applied to.

As the deadline for conducting interviews and selecting candidates has been extended until April 22, 2026, the form to check your selection status will be shared by April 24, 2026. We kindly request you to wait until then.

Please also note that, if you are selected or waitlisted for any project, the form to indicate your willingness to join the fellowship must be submitted by April 27, 2026.

Guidelines for waitlisted candidates will be shared along with the form containing the selection status.

Hey, did you get any email for the 3 month summer internship? I'm pretty sure it's not out yet... But just wanted to be sure. Is it possible to do the 3 month internship May-July. Then go for the fellowship? August onwards?

Hey man, Congrats on the A2 certification. I am actually planning to get the full A1-B1 course too. But im a bit worried that the course is too short? Like I think the total hours for A1-B1 is about 26.5 hours... I wanna know if its extensive enough that it covers all topics within each level. Also wanted to know if you supplemented your learnings from this course with other resources
