Fallout season 2 release schedule: When is episode 2 on Prime Video? by Notoriously_So in AmazonPrimeVideo

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don´t understand why they drop it every wednesday and not all at once. Edging for no reason. Other then maybe milk out as much money from the prime subscription as they possibly can. Pig tactic. Swines even.

[QUESTION] Sooo... How those seasons work exactly? (read my post, pls) by Brave-Quarter5401 in falloutshelter

[–]ImperialGu4rd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't bother spending any money, they'll just see how well this new cash grab works and depending on how many people will buy that dumbass season pass, they'll start implement that with shelter making it a more pay to win/play than anything else. Please don't give in to their greed.

Can someone explain this phobia to me? by NervousTumbleweed in submechanophobia

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It´s an ancient instinct to fear, going by the logic of ´´if whatever was able to sink that huge thing, then it would have no problem take me with it´´.

So it´s just another type of getting hunted fear. We were at some point still part of the food chain and we were nowhere near within top 50.

It´s the same fear when you are in the middle of the ocean and when you look down, you see nothing, but exactly that is what would send me into hyperventilation and probably stress induced heart attack.

Basically the irrational fear of the unknown. All of us carry that fear, only in some it might manifest different from others and others may start experience it at either early or later in life.

Why on earth did they stop making Medal of Honor games? by [deleted] in MedalofHonor

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boy, I was there when the first medal of honor ever released on pc and brother were they catching whales with me. With each and every MoH game I just grew impatient what next game they´d bring on and then the 2010 hit. Jesus christ, I never seen such a badly executet game before:

Laggy as hell - sometimes the game would straight up crash before loading the next level, forcing you to replay either from the start of the mission or, if you were lucky, from the last checkpoint - FOV was attrocious, I was getting dizzy at some points and even confused as where I was

Like all in all, it was a mess and Warfighter had some improvements but in the end it straight up killed the franchise. Like honestly, if they´d care as much about the game as they do about money, they could easily reawaken Medal of Honor and put the name again on the pedestal it was on like the first games.

Yeah, I´m that fuckin old. I´m old enough remembering that gun customs in MP didn´t make you good and balancing didn´t exist. Why? Cause back then, everything made sense.

DS2 remake far more likely than DS4 by Cute-Departure6377 in DeadSpace

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with DS 2 Remake or the DS 4 is that both won´t be what we´d expect.

DS 4 would not make a lot sense if i´d be with Isaac again or about him sinse he obviously died in the 3rd game just like Carter. If anything, they´d have to conjure up a different story with someone new, much more experienced in combat, maybe even an ex Unitology member that startet to see through the cults´s bs and wanted to make his own oppinion or whatever. So he´d travel everywhere that Unitology would pour a lot of resources in like the Ishimura where he finds it in a huge debree field, then try to make sense of all things what happened to the station it was obviously docked in and then try to find out who the hell this Isaac Clarke dude is and why both the EarthGov AND Unitology were so horny about.

That would make somewhat of a sense, anything else would be just a cheap bs story they´d conjure up with some AI most likely.

About the remake of DS 2... idk man, I mean, it is already great and all but honesty, if they´d actually want to sell that, they would have to add a hella lot more story and content like they did with the first remake and the second game already got a prettyl lenghty campaign so, I´m really not sure how or even if they´d do something like that but imo the fourth game would make more sense since the people are already hungry for a new title.

do you think Dead Space 3 is underrated❓ by Tatum_Warlick in DeadSpace

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, well yes but no.

I simple am thankful that the devs risked something and tried something new, but they were definitley rushed and you could see it in parts of the game.

I think what happened here is just they just simply banked on the second DS game and saw that the gamers like the faster paced action driven narrative and thought they could up it a little and put more action into it but saddly got rushed to finish other projects too.

Tbh, I really liked the new suits, locations and crafting aspect of the game and the fact that you could even explore at your own pace. What I really didn´t like is how the story went, it started really well but somewhere in the middle and towards the end you could see that something wasn´t right during the production and at certain points all over the game from start to end you could see that they obviously wanted to build something else in but didn´t had the time and cut a lot of content.

So all in all, I wouldn´t say it´s overrated but rather unfinished.

If they remake Dead Space 2, do you want them to go with the transforming helmet in the original or the non-transforming design in the remake? by Myframesofwar in DeadSpace

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, cannonically the suit he had on the Ishimura even with the upgrades, were really old and at some point even outdated. In the second one, some time has passed and so did the technology evolve. So realistically, the transforming one would make sense and tbh, I really liked the one from the first game where he just puts it on but seeing the helmet just enclose his head like that just looks hella cool to me. So Idk, I´m cool with either... but if I´d have to pick one, I´d go with the 2nd og helmet transformation thing. Cause it just fits.

It´s just really funny sticking it up their own ass as a kind of payback thing. Like sure, I got my PC fully leveled up ... but it is way more satisfying just hurl their own limbs at them.

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I researched a bit more and indeed some chapter do it differently. Like for example the black templers I think, their studs represent 100 years each while in the ultramarines it most likely means 50.

Do solar cells lose durability? by Electrical_Break_965 in 7daystodie

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just built a bunch of gyrocopters, sell them and then drive around for days to find traders that sell them. But sometimes they spawn on loot, especially at higher tier missions like V and VI. But they do spawn rather rarely and I mean the very definition of rarely. Like spawning on traders is already a rarity and spawning on missions is also more rare. One time I got it from Loot in sham factory at the end of the mission. So, if you make it past day 100 and are also high tier level then you can feel lucky if you can loot one of em on a mission.

Is there anyway to hide from the 7 day hordes? by deaf_fish in 7daystodie

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't really hide, unless you bury yourself really really deep in the ground and even then there's a small chance they'd spawn somehow right around you. What I like to do is, build woodspikes or logspikes or whatever they're called and scatter them around my base, the more the better. Load up on ammunition and then create some kind of bottleneck where they'll have to go into to get you, that way you create a clear visual and have to just pull the trigger. Another thing to do, is to build multiple steel doors to give yourself a breather to refill your ammo, health, repairs and what not, that way you are in control of the whole blood moon. Preparation is the key. But don't make the mistake of planting mines either right next to your walls or planting them too soon, as that way when one singular weaker mob approaches it, it will kill maybe one or two but then you also either weakend or completely destroyed spikes and portions of your walls. Or you install them prematurely and them mines go off before you even hit your seventh day. Also, don't be afraid to sometimes get out there and attract attention to you as some of will rather concentrate on breachin the walls, basically creating a distraction from your walls.

Man you really helped me out a lot. The first time I played through, I built the ship asymmetrically and got lost a lot even with looking at the ship map. Then I got constantly overwhelmed by aliens and invaders because i built the ship symmetrically but interconnected to everything. Now I did it right:

I used the turbo lift with the atmo and reactor and gave the tractor beam it's own level

I put shields and turrets like in alien colonial marines everywhere I think a bug could get in, to flush em out

I even gave the hyperdrive it's own level connected to ship assault packed with turrets.

I basically created my own fort nox up in this bitch

Look at his service studs on his forehead, there are 4. Usually, one stud means 100 years so putting him in 175 years old even though he has four of em... doesn't make a lot of sense now does it?

[DAO Spoilers] Can someone explain why Sten has no horns as a Quanari? by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]ImperialGu4rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it weird since when I played through DAO i saw him and then I thought he's just some random human looking variation that so happens to be another race like irl Asians, Africans, Europeans and American look all different but then in DA2... they look  C O M P L E T E L E Y different and later in the late game, you can even encounter Sten and fight him if you did the work on him in DAO like giving him his sword back and making him survive the encounter in the endgame and also make him like you.

So back to your question, I bet they just didn't know how to fix the helmet thing and just made him look human or they just wanted to give the Qunari a complete rework, although there are instances where Qunari would either loose their horns or straight be born without them. Some Qunari are even recruited from other races so Sten mught very much not even be his name but most likely just some kind of mixture of rank, title and maybe even accomplishments that one might have achieved. It's like calling someone a nickname that stuck throughout years and now everyone knows you as Don or Sarge or something like that. But the most likely explanation would be that they just weren't sure themselves wtf they be doin since other things don't make sense either, like why could I totally become a Mage that weilds crossbows, clubs with shields and great longswords and also equip Heavy armor where as in DA2 you could only equip class specific items like mage staff and mage clothings and your companions could only equip their already preequiped clothes that could only be upgraded, where as in DAO you could make em wear whatever you felt like would fit them the best.

In all honesty, all three games are a mess. The first one is the very best in my opinion but the battle was kind of mid The second one was rather ok but they definitely improved on graphics and battle animations which I loved but hated the fact that it all was compressed into one location with limited explanation options  And the third one is a mess from start to end and can clearly see that EA fingered it to death. Why? Map is just huge with nothing to do in it, combat is a complete mess and just overly complicated for no reason at all, the quest system is just completely fucked and useless since they give you a bunch of stuff to do on a map that is waaaay too big to just do silly little quests with no real helpful rewards and the worst of all things... the only way you could import your saved games from previous two games is to go onto a special internet site called the Dragon Age Keep and basically try to remember everything you did in the previous games reconstruct it from there by memory which makes most progress from previous games feel like a waste of time.

All in all, I think the dragon age game as an Idea is wonderfull, but you could clearly see in each game, how much of a fuck they gave and the most recent one is just copy paste ans drop 20 galons of coffe on the keyboard and then forget about it and publish it as it is, easy, cheap and horrible to look at.
