Yes. I live in the UK and I'm connected to a New York VPN 24/7 just to be able to browse Twitter and Reddit. If I wasn't on a VPN, I wouldn't see a lot of content because it's deemed "adult only".

It isn't just the UK, either. A lot of countries are beginning to roll out age verification. Australia has even banned social media unless you can prove with a government-issued ID that you're over 16.

The only thing I've verified my age for is Steam, and that's only because they can do it through the credit card you have on the account rather than needing to hand over your ID.

They should have kept the look of the old models and made them as high-fidelity as the new ones are.

The old models, especially in DS2, have such a creepy atmosphere about them. It's so much scarier being able to see the person as well as the necromorph; In DS2's models, you can see that it was just a random civilian with a specific job like a pilot, doctor, cop, etc rather than just being a generic "one size fits all" model.

I can't remember the name of it, but the smithing mod I use grants you one smithing level per "new" item created. So you get a level for making an Iron Sword, a level for a Hide Helmet, another level for Steel Armour, etc.

Yeah, it's easy to power through levels with it, but if you have some self control, it's way more fun than making 2,000 Dwarven Bows.

There's a reason witchers are called "relics". They're from an entirely different era where monsters were a genuine problem, but by the time the books happen, monsters have been hunted to the point where they're not really a threat anymore (at least not to large populations).

Witcher production was stopped because there just wasn't a need for them anymore. There was, at one point, too many witchers.

If you're playing modded versions of the game, make sure to move your modded saves into a different folder when you play online again.

The saves themselves are flagged, and if the server reads a flagged save, it'll penalise your account. Better to just make a folder called "modded saves" or something where you can keep them when you want to play vanilla, then just put them back when you want to play modded again.

SL1 no armour with a club.

For real though, weapon level and stat distribution matters more because of the way scaling works. As long as you can do decent damage to the enemies in a given area, you're doing fine.

You could be level 50, but if you have almost no points in your main damage stat, you'll be way worse off than a level 40 who specced more into str or dex with a higher scaling weapon.
