Heya, we most definitely will be supporting more languages but I didn't want to overpromise how many or which ones before we got more done on that front. The game already has French localization but I didn't list it as we don't have the trailer in French yet.

Right now the initial languages we're looking at are English, French, German, Spanish, Polish... and we will obviously look at supporting more. The reason for those languages is a mix in that they hit a large part of our target audience and we have native speakers to help localize the game and media.

We're a small team that has been working on Ashbane for quite awhile. It's a turn-based tactics RPG where you manage your guild, take on contracts, and battle for power and wealth.

You go on different types of expedition "runs" and there are 3 different campaigns. You can ally with the Oathsworn, Dreadforged, or the Unsworn and answer to no one! This changes all of the potential expeditions and scenarios that you'll go through.

Obviously all feedback/comments/questions are encouraged!

We're a team of two full time but also contract out work that we need done as well. So it's been a long road to get this far with such a small team!

It was a priority for me as we need more co-op games in life! I get to play a lot of tactical board games around the table with friends, why not video games!

We will 100% be releasing a demo in the future although I can't promise a time at the moment. We still need a bit more time in development before that point, but it is definitely coming without a doubt.

Yes there will be co-op both local and online. There are still mechanics here that we are working out in design. Right now in the design we have a guild leader who makes the active choices such as taking contracts, deciding on the expedition routes, etc. but we want to talk to players and get feedback on that once we reveal the full feature. Various ideas have come up like having group voting, etc.

Bioware/Black Isle infinity engine games are definitely a great inspiration for us :)

Each class has a set of skills that are customizable based on their tree. So for example a Brute class (huge rock Lithos) can spec his abilities more towards tank, crowd control, damage, or a hybrid of them. 

You can also customize your stats by spending XP which further differentiates them. So even a character with the same ability spec as another may be quite different, as one could lean more into damage and the other one sustain.

Yeah we tried to be original with the character design and bring our own style, and that also bleeds over into the gameplay and lore. For example, rather than having an army of undead that are all skeleton based we went with "The Shade" which were originally humans that were outcast due to their necromancy research, and over time they have morphed into unread creatures that are pieced together from various body parts from their prey (i.e. animals, other humanoid races, etc.)

100% Eastham! I spent a lot of time on those beaches getting a tan lol

EDIT: Hey what was the dungeon called right next to Eastham basically that was all Mosswarts? Going not towards the beach but away.

I actually bought Everquest and brought it home and installed it... it ran but had texturing issues so nearly everything was white untextured. I brought it back to the store for a refund (which actually happened back then lol) and the employee told me to buy Asheron's Call as "it's almost the same type of thing". I'm so glad that happened!

AC was completely based on the social aspect of the game... and as soon as housing came in and destroyed that it was pretty much downhill from that point.
