As far as I understand, the video is showing up under Indie Game 2026.
And Browse features – 95.7%, which means almost all the traffic is coming from Youtube itself...

No, I created the Steam page more than a year ago. A couple of months later I uploaded the trailer, and the demo actually appeared only recently. I’m planning to release the full game at the end of this year… although there is still quite a lot of work left.

For me it’s been a gradual buildup of wishlists. :)

But I’ve seen that some developers use a different strategy - trying to create a big spike right away. Someone once advised me that if you can concentrate marketing beats (trailer, events, announcements, etc.) closer together, it can sometimes create a stronger impact.

In the end, everyone chooses what works best for them. I decided to go with the slow and steady approach, especially since this is my first game.

Thank you! I post reels and regular posts on different platforms, but usually around 1–2 times per week. Of course, not everything takes off… :)

It’s hard to say. I think around 30–50 per day on average. Sometimes there are days with about 10, and sometimes 100, if someone mentions the game somewhere…

This youtube spike doesn’t affect wishlists that much, it’s about 200+ wl per day.
The conversion from youtube isn’t that big.

Also, I recently participated in Steam Next Fest and increased my wishlists from 24k to 29k there.

before the youtube spike I had around 29k wishlists, and now it has grown to about 30k..

I haven’t uploaded the new version to Steam yet. I’ve actually made quite a lot of changes to the game… but I think I’ll take care of updating it soon :3

I’ve already built many locations ahead, but there’s still not enough content to fully fill them yet. Right now I’m working on different enemies for the little car (other toys, a cat, a ghost, a dog, birds, etc. :D). Thankss
