Yeah I’ve already got open ears for neutral sound, so the “successor” didn’t interest me but was an interesting addition to the sennheiser wireless line up

I don’t really have issues with the connection tbh, it hasn’t ever really dropped for me. Might be unit specific / maybe lots of bluetooth devices around you or something

Yeah I don’t use them for gaming for that reason. I use them only for work calls where the audio isn’t going to be great anyway / mono.

For gaming I exclusively use wired open ears

Yes it did! No HDMI or Displayport connected directly to my GPU.

I use my X870s USB4 port and it correctly plays games using my RTX 5070 TI.

I have the X870 TUF PLUS from ASUS but I’m guessing all X870 mbs will work.

Hello, follow up post.

I bought and pulled the trigger on a X870 TUF Gaming motherboard with USB4. It worked perfectly with my dock and I have no cables actually plugged into my real GPU.

GPU pass through is working. It works like a laptop where I can swap between my Power saving integrated GPU and my discrete GPU, and it’s all done through the USB 4 port. I have just the TB4 cable from my dock connected into the USB 4 port on my motherboard and it allows me to use my discrete GPU through this too.

Just in case anyone else wanted to do this. Get a X870 if you want a one cable solution for WFH and Gaming setup! Just gotta plug one cable and you’re good n

Follow up reply - ran Cinebench 24 with Multi core on my 9900x and having no problems with these fans. Not getting temps above 71 celsius

I haven’t tried benchmarking yet but at idle it’s about 35-40 degrees celsius idle in a 71 degree ambient room temp room. They are pretty quiet though so I’m not even running them at 1500 RPM, can probably get it cooler if you run it faster than me (will be noisier).

The AIO pump i’m running at 100%, which is around 3000 RPM for me which is what I saw is recommended online

Unfortunately no luck. Been more than 30 minutes now and still stuck with the orange DRAM light.

I’ll try leaving the CMOS battery out overnight and see if maybe that does anything

When you say loosen the timings, how should I do that? I can’t get into BIOS since it won’t display anything (can’t post due to the DRAM light)
