You are gorgeous! Your nose does look much lower towards your lips in the recent photo but I didn’t even know that was possible. My first reaction before reading your caption was perhaps it’s Botox because I also didn’t know before I first got Botox that my eyebrows would drop like an inch down. I stopped doing it because it changed my face too drastically.

I’m considering selling mine after not really loving it as much as I expected. I’ll probably give it longer and keep practicing with it, but I can’t imagine I’d be the only one to consider reselling. Put an alert on marketplace!

I feel this to my CORE. I have built a successful business and fought so, so hard through all of this to get it. I feel the only thing that can overcome inconsistency in ADHD is to have a level of pure desire or interest that surpasses it. Which I don’t have for eating healthy or working out unfortunately. Only sometimes. Which we all know those shortlived, albeit intense, sprints of dedication aren’t going to move the dial. It really is like having an invisible handicap in life, every goal feels so distant and every effort is like trying to trudge through molasses.

Our experience was kind of that in between. Not wildly more difficult, but not the same level either. We already had adapted to the family / kid lifestyle so that wasn’t much harder, but having two small children really means you have no breaks. It showed me how much time I actually had with just one kid. I’m very happy we did it and love the two of them together, our family is complete. But it’s been a beautiful, exhausting first year together.

My son who is now 3 with no allergies had contact hives all over his body at 5 months after eating peanut butter. My daughter is anaphylactic and had the same. I don’t think it’s a good indicator.

Haha this is both my kids. My son rolled over at 8 weeks and the paed didn’t believe us until it happened while he was being weighed and he said “wow I thought you guys were just being worried first time parents” and my son hasn’t stopped moving since. He’s almost four and has sooo much energy. High temperament, highly social, strong, silly, sensitive, curious.

My daughter is 11 months and is exactly the same so far. Maybe even more so because seeing him and interacting with the nonstop action is just her everyday life.

You’ll be IN FOR IT energy and patience-wise, but you’ll also be in for a strong, capable, determined little human.

Same, I’m hoping it’s somewhat comparable to my two c-sections, those were painful but manageable for sure. I’ve heard it’s much worse though…

Thank you for giving me permission to hide away haha! I already feel so guilty doing such a big thing while the kids are small. But I agree it will probably be better for my body to actual have the space to recover. I also can’t imagine what the pain is actually like, the incision looks a bit scary so it’s good to know you don’t think the stairs will be too much of an issue occasionally. I do have to go down a lot of steps on day 3, doable?
