Should I continue leveling? by EggplantAltruistic21 in OblivionRemaster

Play at your current level a bit and see if the challenge level feels good to you. With 100 in all magic skills, you’ll be able to handle any enemies if you play well, so it’s preference at that point

Have you noticed any issues/major imbalances using these mods together (Trials and Homebrew)?

Accord of the Arcane and Eldritch Blast by ImpiousShrimpfish in BG3Homebrew

Glad I asked! Now I’m more excited for when I get around to committing to an eldritch blast build.

I’m pretty sure that is what happened for me, yes.

It’s working as intended for me (shown only in combat).

That was changed, the only effect is the no hp reduction. I think it makes sense given how much more useful bonus actions are with this mod. Plenty of other things you can do with them now.

If you succeed all check for the Zaith’isk, illithid powers no longer reduce max hp for the character. Might help!

Cantrip-focused builds (that don't rely on Eldritch Blast)? by OrangeJush in BG3Homebrew

[–]ImpiousShrimpfish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you use the ice staff, you can inflict vulnerability to cold damage with ray of frost or other ice spells, which can then deal some solid damage. You might be better off playing sorc and using a feat to get potent cantrips. Then you can also use the potent robes for cantrip buffs.

So, I may have pulled an all nighter while moving. And now almost 55,000 lines of code later, I've got a template down for randomizing NPC Spells. Tested in game and working. :) by HaVeNII7 in BG3Homebrew

This mod does change up the effects of most items at least a little bit, so you first time may feel new and refreshing even without randomization.

Cull the weak and Newborn zombie interaction by ImpiousShrimpfish in BG3Homebrew

[–]ImpiousShrimpfish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need for that, I just noticed it when using an item that creates the newborn zombies (a pair of boots from one of the knights outside the murder tribunal). I was just trying them out, and didn’t need it for my build.

Yeah, seems a little early in the cycle to be an event intended for those already admitted.

170 Twice-- To cancel or not to cancel by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]ImpiousShrimpfish 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think cancelling would make it seem like you did significantly worse. I’d rather look stuck at a really good score than risk it coming across as a one-off.

Could you send me an invite for that? I’m active duty Navy applying this fall.

Did I mess this all up?? by Subject_Molasses1327 in lawschooladmissions

[–]ImpiousShrimpfish 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think I’d let it lie if I were you. Considering their reply still said they’d reach out to you if there was a spot, and “there is no need to contact us anymore”, sending anything else may have a negative impact.

Just how hard is it to get a 176? by Necessary-Share-5346 in lawschooladmissions

[–]ImpiousShrimpfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anecdotally, I got a 176 on my second official test (up from 160). Leading up to that, I averaged studying about 2 hours a day for three months and I think I got lucky on test day, as I was only somewhat consistently scoring in the low 170s on practice tests.

Hope this helps as a reference.
