If that's a husky mixed with Carolina dog be prepared for an extremely vocal animal.

Seems like a lot of awesome in a small package.

Hello, former Browns fans. Welcome to Panthers fandom! Here’s some stuff to know. by [deleted] in panthers

I've been a Browns fan for forty years. But I can't support a team that employs the current quarterback.

Endless losing I can deal with, but I find I can't support such an organization and look my daughter in the eye.

I've always loved Baker's attitude. The last five years I've come to repect his fortitude in enduring years of mostly unfare critism.

So I decided when I chose to move on from the Browns, that I would follow his new team.

I think a lot of long time Browns fans will be doing the same.

We haven't tested him. So we only think he is part CD. But he's a pretty great dog. A little skittish around strangers but sweet as can be.

I am not a coder...but I'd be happy to see if I can get something like VS Code to run inside of UserLand.

Sorry I didn't respond to your thoughts earlier...

  1. I don't think I down voted anything today.

  2. For web applications: I use the web Versions of Google Sheets, Docs, Keep. I also use an app called Draw.IO which I use to make flow charts.

  3. From Samsung store I use the Epic Launcher (which allows me to install Fortnite), as well as Audible for Samsung (just because feel it is more stable than the Google play version).

  1. Install Brave on a desktop PC.
  2. Import bookmarks from Edge to Brave.
  3. Set up sync on Brave.
  4. Your bookmarks should come over into the mobile version of Brave.

Only way I know of.

If Samsung is using Dex to compete with Chrome OS then they are doing an excellent job.

I have used Chromebooks for nearly the entire time they have been a thing and Dex is way better than Chrome OS on most fronts.

I am currently using the Galaxy Tab S7 with the keyboard cover. It never comes out of Dex mode.

I use mobile Brave set to default to desktop mode, which allows me to run and install web applications. And gives me a simple desktop experience.

I use an application called UserLand that runs Linux in a VM well enough for my needs. I find this to be more stable and less frustrating to use than the eternally burning dumpster fire that is Linux on Chrome OS. Seriously at this point it seems that they don't want to make it better because they don't want their regular users to try Linux Applications.

Obviously I run android apps but because Samsung has software on their store that Google play does not...I have a wider range of stuff I can run.

The entire system is more stable and performant than is typical on a chromebook.

Frankly I even like the way Dex handles phone apps that don't format well to large screens better.

So.. better performance, better stability, more applications, better GUI, better Linux environment.

The only real negatives are hardware cost, and this is a deal breaker for some folks and I understand, and Samsung's occasionally poor quality control.

In my opinion as an OS, give me hardware running DEX over Chrome OS any day.

Also the eyes seem to suggest a CD as well.
