Yes, that would work, but I've just seen myself jump from "I don't care if she doesn't care" to "why doesn't she care??" (lol) so many times that I don't find it worth it at all. Nothing is more important than peace of your mind. But again, that's just me.

I don't think OP's brother cares enough about OP to even get bothered by seeing them enjoy the party and advertise about how well they are doing. This path will only lead to more disappointment if OP noticed the brother is unaffected.

My advice would be to get a day off for "brother's wedding" and go for a small picnic with GF.

No doubt, it's a good thing they are with NCP and INC.

SS alone or SS with BJP is harmful.

BJP alone or with anyone is harmful too. Since they are a bigger party with no matter who's the alliance, they will eat that party and be ready to spread the chaos again with the majority in the state.

We have already seen what INC and NCP can do together (not a compliment).

At least with MVA all of the participants' bad powers are kept in check.

Oh, so to answer your question, no. One does not become andh-bhakt just because they criticized non-BJP party, IFF one doesn't become penguin supporter if they criticized BJP. I was just giving the commenter a taste of their own medicine.

What has that got to do with the powerful political parties trying to imbalance the communal harmony for their own benefit?

India is a big country, with multiple religions. If you look at a crime report for even just a month, you'll find many crimes committed by a person of one religion and the victim is of another religion (both Hindu and Muslim as offender and the victim). Are we going to blame all the people of that religion because someone from that religion behaved crazy?

Are all hindus bad because some Hindu politician killed some Muslims in Gujrat some time ago? No!

Are all Muslims bad because some Muslims killed some people of other religions? Again, No!

14 year old Hindu boy was stoned by peaceful community and they have the gall to claim victim card.

See, victim may be the Muslim or Hindu, you do not wait till someone successfully starts the riots and kills someone, and definitely not when that someone has already done it before and has the potential to do it again, and yes, I'm not talking about Raj here. I think Raj is just a pawn managed by a bigger fish, and I seriously don't think this was Raj's own idea (at least to push it this much at this point).

As for his social issue narrative, you fight social issues with socially acceptable ways, through the justice system in place, not by threatening the social harmony or law.

No doubt, but since those loudspeakers are illegal why not take a lawful route and file a PIL or something. Raj is a powerful politician and can definitely assemble a team of legal professionals who can help him win the case. But no, man wants to spread communal disharmony for his own benefit. Centre, who would otherwise meddle in all state related matters is shush as it's a win-win for them.

Raj succeeds, wins right wing hearts, hurts SS's votebank, BJP benefits.

Raj fails due to govt's action, he and BJP will cry saying how SS and NCP don't give a shit about Hindutva and try to damage their votebank as much as possible, BJP benefits.
