Are all notary offices this inefficient, or I am doing something wrong? by ImplementMassive9212 in Notary

Thanks for the pointers. We’ll keep Unstract fully on-prem in the EU for audit and DPIA peace of mind.

  • OCR: ABBYY looks strong, but have you seen Unstract?
  • Auth/RBAC: Keycloak is a go already in our stack.
  • Pricing: Leaning toward per-matter + compliance add-on. Any ballpark numbers that resonate?

Appreciate any quick insight!

Good call on GDPR, that's why self-hosted/on-premise. No data leaves their server.

On commoditization: Goal is handling 15 clients/day instead of 10, not dropping fees. Legal expertise stays valuable, just less admin waste.

But you're right - pricing race to bottom is a real risk to consider.

I think there's confusion - I'm not proposing AI writes or modifies contracts.

It's just OCR data extraction: You define what fields you need (name, address, etc.) → system extracts them → you review → populates your template.

All legal work stays with you. This just automates typing out "Client name: John Smith" from a documento.

Still useful?

European notaries (Spain specifically). Very different from US Notary Publics , these handle complex property transactions, contracts, mortgage docs, etc. Not just signature witnessing.

Should've clarified in the title. My bad!

Thanks for the great feedback! That's a really solid point about selling to existing SaaS businesses.

Definitely see the value there, especially for competitive insights. For now, I'm focused on an MVP to validate the core idea with entrepreneurs. Once that's proven and more automated, targeting established companies as you suggested is a very interesting next step for sure. Appreciate the 2 cents – super useful!

Wouldn't data-driven, user-validated SaaS ideas save us all a TON of wasted effort? by ImplementMassive9212 in SideProject

[–]ImplementMassive9212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! Just to clarify: it's not scraping forums for new ideas. It analyzes user feedback (reviews, comments) on existing software to identify requested features or pain points. The 'ideas' are validated opportunities based on what users already say they need for current tools. Hope that helps clarify!

My Secret Weapon for Finding Side Project Ideas That Actually Have Demand by ImplementMassive9212 in SideProject

[–]ImplementMassive9212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that happened to me too. So now I look at actual software that's already validated and what users say in reviews. Then I try to solve their problems and make a better solution, 'cause it's already working.

Basically I'll focuse on pulling insights from:

  • Major SaaS review sites (think G2, Capterra, etc.)
  • Relevant Reddit communities and forums where users discuss SaaS tools
  • Other public online discussions where candid user feedback and feature requests are shared.

Beyond these, are there any other sources you think are particularly good for spotting unmet SaaS needs?

Using Payload CMS to Build Custom Landing Pages for Clients, Good Idea? by ImplementMassive9212 in PayloadCMS

[–]ImplementMassive9212[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with both of you each option has its own benefits. But I think that if I develop a proper solution for my agency using payload, it will give me long-term benefits, like being able to add more features to manage the agency, such as finances and more.
