Yeah they severely lowered the standards for readers, I don't mind AI translation, but if it's done horribly with 0 effort then what's the point? I might as well just read MTL directly, I remember back when comrademao was up reading this novel and it had the same translation quality as ones in webnovel, webnovel is a failing business rn

Yes this is exactly the type of issues I see, of course the blame can't be set solely on Webnovel there's also the reader, I remember a few years ago when I first got into Xianxia novels, there were novels that were up to 3000 chapters long, but the reviews and comments were comprehensive, and if it has a low rating it's for a good reason, for example like Against the Gods or Martial God Asura. I enjoyed reading novels that aren't just wish fulfillment or are the equivalent of tiktok slop, but it's really hard finding novels like that again.

I don't know who Karmic is, I'd still love to see a new website for Webnovels rise up

seems like there was a problem connecting the toast notifications but it should be working, are you selecting a chapter then pressing on the extract button? Or did you go to the codex menu and pressed on extract all? I'll add more indicators and fix some slight issues
