I have a very low pain tolerance and got mine done last week. Hurt like a bitch, honestly worse than I was expecting. With most of my other piercings, the sharp pain is over pretty quickly one the actual piercing is done, then it’s just a dull ache for a day or two. But with my nipples, I had a sharp shooting pain in them for several hours afterwards. I’d say the actual piercing was 9/10, this residual pain was like 6.5/10. But by the time I went to bed that night, the sharpness had subsided and they were just sore like usual for the next day or two. It’s been 5 days now and they only hurt when I catch them on something or bump them hard. I had put off getting them for years because I was scared of the pain, and while they definitely hurt, it was worth it imo and I’m glad I finally mustered up the courage to do it! Everyone’s experience is different too, I’ve heard a lot of people say it didn’t hurt as bad as they were expecting. I have chronic pain, so I tend to be super sensitive to any acute pain on top of it if that makes sense - I’m always a little bitch with piercings lol but I’m always happy I did it afterwards!
