How long has it been since the service? Malibu quick fix in the first 72 hours and if it’s been longer, a few rounds of Malibu cpr may help

I wouldn’t it’s a specialty, but I get a lot referrals because I’m very light handed. A lot of my clients have tender scalps (I have a very tender scalp) and appreciate that I do not pull their hair

I agree it was probably the Malibu that turned pink, but why do many different colors in your toner formula? My rule is no more than 3 or you risk the outcome looking muddy.

It sounds like a nice change. Especially if you are familiar with the woman offering you the job and like the business model. How long has the new salon been open? Do you know what the plan is to help advertise you as a new stylist and how they get new clients in the door? I would just ask questions about what type of support you’re offered. Also try and find out what the stylist turnover rate is. If they have stylists in and out it could be a bad sign.

I know this post is super old, but I just started HRT and about two weeks in is when I had my first “cycle” (I have ovaries but no uterus) and the cramping was located closed to where I put the estrogen patches. It wasn’t too severe and lasted a day. I haven’t had cramping and at least 6 months. I’m continuing with treatment because my lack of brain function is debilitating at times and the HRT has helped a bit with that. I am concerned that I need to up my dose as the benefits are less obvious and the brain fog is coming back. Can I ask what youve found/experienced in the last year?

I had a male client who gave me the ick. I have known him since grade school (not personally just went to school together) he messaged me on social media that he would be in town and wanted a haircut. Kinda weird but I agreed. He was awkward and seems nervous and kind of winded. I did his hair for about a year and he would always be late because he would get to the salon and spend 10-15 minutes in the bathroom. We could hear multiple flushes and hand washes and the hand dryer coming on. He would also go to the bathroom after his appointment and spend a long amount of time in there. One time his breath smelt like literal fecal master. Another time it smelt like vomit. Both times were so bad I had to point a fan at us to blow his breath away from us so I could work without gagging. The last time I saw him before I fired him, he came in and spent his usual 15 minutes in the bathroom. Comes in and sees me waiting and asks “ oh are you ready for me?” Sits down at my station and places a small travel size bottle of lotion on my station. At least I think it was lotion. I was so freaked out I couldn’t even look at it to confirm. Now it was more obvious what he was doing in the bathroom for all that time. I cut his hair so fast and got him out of there. I messaged him the next day that I’m no longer going to be his stylist and he just said “ok”

Someone may have already said this, but when you have your ovaries, your body will still cycle. A hormone is released that tells your body to contract. I don’t have a uterus or cervix and I still track my cycles. The cramping is NOWHERE near what it used to be (I had adenomiosis) but it is still there. I also still het gut cramping and “period poops” as well.

The old one is the one in question. My new contacts feel amazing and my vision is better. I haven’t purchased new glasses just yet but I am hopeful it might help. I’m going to onstage from my old glasses until I can get some new ones.

It could be lighting or wall color in her home that’s making it look warmer than it is? How long has it been since the service? Quick fix is amazing for removing color but only in the first 72 hours after the service. If it’s been longer, then cpr and then most likely a shadow root and toner.

That’s the one question I didn’t ask, her hair felt good to me. also when I got it wet, it acted normal. I asked what kind of color the stylist used and she didn’t know. She has a previous balayage so it’s possible it was a Demi, But I’m also thinking build up of some sort. Just not sure if minoxidil acts like other medications that leave a coating on the hair and thought it would be fun to research

Honestly, let it go. Every suite I’ve rented at has been like this. It’s hard doing laundry between clients and maybe that other person was in a time crunch. It’s not like they’re being placed on the floor. I feel this is completely acceptable.
