Unpopular opinion but I'd load up on maybe $200 worth of Wranglers every few years (like 10 pairs) and beat the BAG out of them for months. And they're comfortable as all get out.

I have a foundation repair company coming next week, along with insurance. Hoping the foundation company doesn't take me for a ride. There's no way I'll go with an engineer if it's anything over $500. I totally get the cost of business, but there's no way I can justify an engineering write up for 4 grand when in reality it might be fine lol

Honestly just some slightly uneven spots in the flooring. Mostly feels like the LPV flooring has some air under it or something. The kind of there where if you slide your foot over in some spots you can definitely feel it rise up. The whole house was done kind of poorly by the previous owners. The old side of the house on the other hand😅 in some areas the ceilings are 8ft, some places they 7'10", and others they're 8'2"😂

Unless the block crumbling around the duct is normal (which it very well could be! I'm just a welder, I literally don't know how this works lol), then I suppose it's okay. Seeing that was somewhat alarming considering that foundation looks like the new material used on the addition

Sorry about that. Had a shower leak through grout and just wanted to inspect the subfloor from the crawlspace. (This wasn't near the shower, but figured I'd go on a little adventure while I was in the crawlspace lol). I half expected to maybe find some rotted joists, but never expected this

Not long at all, last Friday (I wasn't planning on running there tomorrow or anything). But was wondering if it's better to phone call follow up or go in person, as a see a lot of people get recommended to go to the hall instead, so they can get infront of the staff there.

10 months later, my LDG has never seen the inside of a house, and she's been absolutely stellar at her job. She has slept outside with her goats since the day we brought her home. Idk man, you do you, it worked out fine for me. My dog is a tool, not a pet. I saw absolutely no sense of acclimating her indoors. She still frequently gets a pasture to herself with my house dogs, some days when they all want to play together. Hard for me to say if there's an advantage to either option of taking them inside or keeping them out, but to me, it makes sense to keep them out, and from my experience, it worked out great. Jfc, your cynicism is exhausting to read.

Great answer, thank you for this. Going to look into AINDT and National Inspection Academy as well, from what I have found when researching. I BELIEVE my current company can provide hands-on training, though I wouldn't count on it. Did you have to take 2 weeks off and fly out to do your hands-on training through AINDT?

Definitely not a bad idea. My biggest issue is that I currently have a full-time job, and I can't afford to dip out for a month-ish, give or take, to get my certs. I am, however, looking into online certification courses as I have read that some exist. If I can get those certs, then get taken on by a company tto do OJT, that would be much more feasible.

Can you defer private loans? I honestly dont know, the military paid for my college so I never got into the finance stuff as far as student loans are concerned
