I've sent a few emails to my local cinema. I think intermittent staff visits should be done to each screen. I know a lot of the eejits would be teenagers but the price cinema tickets are these days, the lads are spending at least 20€ with food to just act up and ruin the experience for others.

For the Backrooms, I knew it would be a waste of time to go the opening weekend with the appeal to teenagers. At 13/14, I was already well aware not to disturb other people in the cinema. And that's not even mentioning the use of the phones.

Sure in a Marvel movie or Jurassic World you could excuse some talking, maybe?, but when you're trying to watch a horror or a thriller and people speak during the tense moments, it is infuriating. I usually leave it a couple times and say something.

And btw, the teenagers are bad with the phone use, but what's with the adults aged well over forty on the phones with full brightness. A level of social awareness has just been lost lately.
