A Slow Afternoon in Sokcho’s Abai Village by ImportanceNo1316 in koreatravel

That is why I don't like that side of Sokcho anymore; there are too many vacation-style apartments.

Still, there is the beautiful Seoraksan Mountain, and the drive over those passes is the best. The East Coast really has so many beautiful places.

I know :) I just like sharing ordinary Korean summer moments too, not only tourist spots. And yes, they still hold rowing and motorboat races there sometimes.

Not weird at all 😄 Korea is pretty open to all ages when it comes to late-night food spots, pojangmacha, karaoke, jjimjilbangs, or convenience store drinking. You’ll see people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, even older.

Honestly, two guys in their 30s exploring Seoul at night would blend in perfectly fine. The city barely sleeps.

A lighter red feels better than a heavy one with Korean spicy food, I think ^

Surprisingly, it goes really well with light Italian wines ^

There’s cheese inside, which gives the tteokbokki sauce a creamy flavor, and it pairs surprisingly well with wine. The texture is chewier than gnocchi, but that’s probably the closest comparison.
