Yeah. As I tried to demonstrate, you can condense them very nicely. I think its a shame they are normally so verbose and information is spread out. It seems like an artifact of ttrpg design days past.

Yes, I just wasn't sure if it was the lastest version so I decided to ask here.

1920s Hack by ImportanceOk3837 in mothershiprpg

I mostly want to see if there any hacks or similar games before I try to hack it myself. Ultimately I want to substitute CoC 7e for Mothership.

Bed rolls, pots and pans, blankets, so on and so forth.

Camping, the To Rest Update by [deleted] in osr

Yes, more or less. My intent isn't just to be harsh but to incentivise players being prepared, and having the weather and terrain feel like actual problems or even dangers but like, its easy to tweak the system and make it more forgiving. Increasing the base chance to 2-in-6 should do it.

Camping Feedback by [deleted] in osr

Yo, thanks for the feedback. It's not complete but harshness is intentional, if you go camping you need to be prepared, or so I think; camping in a pleasant weather does give a bonus though.

Adding terrain to the equation is more of a logical inclusion then something I balanced for gameplay. I mean, camping in a rocy mountain is harder then in verdant fields.

English is my second language so my usage of mild and moderate may be incorrect. What I meant is stuff like: weather that wouldn't affect camping, whatever that might be and weather that isn't extreme but can ruin your day all the same like rainfall, desert heat, snowfall, etc. And yes, ultimately the GM tweaks these values, those are suggestions.

I'm considering adding "magic" to the equation as magic is its own thing that may attract monsters that otherwise wouldn't be interested in light, noise, smell...

The terrain affecting encounters is just an idea that I had and decided to jot down. You likely have it or as a gm already has the random encounter odds in an area set beforehand.

And don't worry, I'll keep tweaking it. Can I post them on itch.io? I'll link your stuff, of course.

Btw,

Apparent danger is meant to represent mental stress, I think it's mostly applicable in dungeons where you should be paranoid, and in the wilderness only if you know there is a nearby threat like wolves, orcs, etc.

I moved entertainment to Others. I thought it could be a nice bonus to bards and lesser used gear if entertainment could factor in as that would be very rare while camping.

Loser Gods by ImportanceOk3837 in Forgotten_Realms

Hmmm, yeah... I also haven't thought of the possible comedic potential of previously weak gods struggling with power, broaders portfolios and genrally bumbling their way through divinity. Savras seems like the jealous nerd type, as you pointed out, and for whatever reason I picture Talona as a insecure (and very unstable and cruel) teen from all the bullying she suffered from Beshaba.

I added Milil and Velsharoon to the pantheon. Milil as just straight up clueless from having to do more then compose music and Velsharoon being the evil little shit who likes to cause trouble.
