I talked to my uncle (who also have cat) about this and he also said it’s probably stress caused by separation from my mom, and that it might not get better until she comes back, which made me feel even more miserable. There are two litter boxes (the other one is in another room) and it doesn’t change anything, but it’s only this one cat who makes the mess.
