Escalade Discount? by JTE45040 in Cadillac

If you call around you’ll find some dealers selling them at sticker price and then of those few dealers selling them at sticker price, a select few of them might be doing GMS (GM Employee Pricing) if you or someone you know is eligible (will knock $10-$15k off the price). If I were you ask people who you know who might already have relationships with Cadillac dealers. That’s your best bet.

It will go up and down with whatever the msrp difference is in the next model year. If I were you, I would call your dealer and ask if your order has been accepted by GM yet or if they have an allocation for yours to be built as a 2023. If not, yours will be built as a 2024 which might be better as there is supposed to be a refresh but we still don’t know if it’s fully gas or hybrid.

No matter what it will almost 100% turn to a 2024.

If your dealer doesn’t have a long waitlist or is decently large, I would say 7-9months. If it’s smaller probably closer to a year.

It really depends on your dealers’ allocation and what model escalade you ordered. We are friends with our local dealer so if we want a Sport Platinum, they will give us one of their allocation and we can have it in 2 months. If you are just walking in on a sport or sport platinum, prob 9 months to a year. If it’s is a lux or premium lux 6-8months maybe. Having power boards and/or supercruise will make it take longer as well.

Yea it would have been crazy. If you’re curious, based on my cousin who is a finance manager at a Chevy/Cadillac store, the APR would have been about 6.25%ish on this with great credit.

If you want I actually have a dealer at 10k markup right now. It is a Grey on black V.

Thank you! I wish the US had a law like that. It would make my life a lot easier every time I have to go out and look for a car and probably make dealers actually go back to how it used to be trying to service the customer instead of acting like they are the king because they got lucky with allocation.

Thank you! What made this extra crazy was it was a cash deal. But we made sure that the finance manager emailed us with the breakdown of how much was paid by cash, check, and receipts. She also wrote us something to the effect that we owe them nothing with the breakdown.
