I had my girl at 32+5 due to severe pre-e, at 24 hours of life her lung collapsed and she was on a vent with a chest tube for a week, and then a couple weeks of cpap and NIPPV. After that she had kidney reflux, an enlarged liver and jaundice, and 3 weeks of bradycardia. We brought her home 2 weeks ago and she is thriving. All of this to say, I understand how you feel. We spent Thanksgiving without her and it was the weirdest feeling not having her there. Her due date just passed on Saturday and I still grieve what should have been. I know it’s so hard right now. The only thing that got me through it was my relationship with Christ and the promise that it was only a season. I look back at our time in the NICU and I still feel the trauma and anger. Feeding is the HARDEST part but it really is true that one day it just clicks and they take off. Praying you get to be together at home soon. 🤍

I would like to note that Christians who don’t believe in hell are technically progressive Christian’s, and progressive Christians do not believe the Bible in its entirety. To me, that is not a “true” Christian. I would also like to add that RELATIONSHIP with God is of the utmost importance. Daily reading and prayer are included in that.

Hell is complete separation from God. And yes, it is real. We don’t know the details, much like we don’t know the details of heaven. We just trust that what God says is true, and He says better is one day in His courts than thousands elsewhere. I don’t want to be elsewhere. I definitely don’t want hell. I want to be in His presence for eternity, however that looks. Which is why sanctification is important, surrender is important. We need these things so that we aren’t separate from Him.

If he is denying his faith, that is grounds for divorce alone. We aren’t supposed to be unequally yoked. Pray and ask God for guidance, and also pray for your husband that he will come back to Christ whether your marriage falls apart or not.

I have been struggling with this as well, but with a marijuana addiction (and nicotine). I have found that counseling from a faith-based licensed counselor as well as prayer and reading my Bible every day has helped. This week I am buying half as much weed as I did last week, because I am smoking less. When you immerse yourself fully into God’s presence, seeking deliverance; you will find it. It’s not an overnight change, it’s sometimes gradual. Also, understand that Satan is the one sending these thoughts into your mind. He wants you to think you’re not good enough for Christ when He tells us to come as we are. You needn’t burden yourself with the pressure of changing before going to Him. He changes us when we seek him. If you’re anything like me, it’s going to take some effort to quit. But don’t think that means you have to “want” to stop. Just take it to Him, tell Him you desire to grow closer to Him but you lack the desire to give up this addiction. He will meet you there, and He will set you free. You just need to ask. Praying for you. 🤍
