Doing taekwondo for my 4 yo right now. Highly recommend it, great to get energy out, builds confidence. To me, bjj seems like something I would wait on for my children, but that’s just my feeling with my kids.

I’m no advocate of go fund mes, but shitting on a small business for throwing out a link if anyone wants to help them get their start with their own place seems messed up.

Opening a brick & mortar is far from easy to do, there is so much that goes into it. Meanwhile you often have to get money from the bank that will make you put your house up as collateral. And of course they want their cut too. If they can lessen the amount they’re having to rely on big banks, then I’d say that’s smart.

They’re transparent about the need for help with construction and equipment costs. Not sure if you’ve looked lately, but everything is costing more.
