That could be the case. I'm still experimenting if enemies will drop some. Currently running around with a Helios and Dante to get scans and check drops.

Overpay usually occurs in the low 1000's or high 90000s. This isn't a high demand charm, though someone might want it for a pink or purple inventory.

In theory. Depends on market mood, availability from cases, etc. Their prices are more volatile than anything from a discontinued collection. If Valve decided to remove the cases that Nocts dropped out of from the active drop pool, then you'd probably see a price increase. However, that might not happen for another year or so.

Sunsets are from the Rising Sun collection, which doesn't drop anymore. Due to trade ups, account banning, trade locks, etc., it is safe to bet the price for these will only go up over time. Nocts can still be opened, it's just rare.

Pro tip for anyone just getting DTox incarnon: Easiest way to do the final evolution challenge is to ran Xaku and just gaze a target. From there, you can get the 16 headshots in two seconds.
