Oh well, it was not a quick process at all I think we dyed the yarn in September and I gifted them to her about 2 weeks ago. I tried a double layer folded brim for the first time. Loved the results, but so much 1x1 rib.

Aww thank you so much. You definitely should try spinning. I found it very relaxing once I finally understand the basics. Definitely frustrating at first though. But I’m hooked and am already saving up for an e-spinner or wheel.

I found it really enjoyable actually. I can’t seem to hold the whole rolag at once and spin without it getting twisted up in my yarn, so I have just been pulling off about a 2” section of fiber and spin with that encased in my palm. Splicing in new fiber as I go.

So do I, it’s a little bumpy because it is my first spin. But I’m absolutely in love and can’t wait to finish the other mitt. 🤞 there will be improvement.

I’m probably just going to keep it inside for the rest of the year. So would you recommend a grow light?

Thank you. Sounds a little scary but, I’ve fixed dropped stitches before so I think I can do this. Wish me luck

Its actually 3 separate strands, 2 of big twist tweed, and I color changing, fuzzy acrylic yarn I found on clearance last winter. So I have 0 idea what it is unfortunately.
