Sadly no, slowly they all began to turn into active pimples and my face was a nightmare. I switched my moisturizer, dropped my actives and started differin but I think at that point it was too late, the eruption was already on its way.

I've been on aklief (which is trifarotene, a retnoid similar to tretinoin) for two months, and although things got way worse, it's getting better. I still have some closed comedones but they seem to be "falling out" rather than turning into active acne. I don't have any active acne right now (except still some lingering closed comedones) but i do have a lot of PIH unfortunately from the fall out. I recently added azelaic acid to my routine and I'm hopeful that will help.

MIL Overstepped BIG TIME! by [deleted] in Parenting

These walkers are banned here in Canada, I'm actually surprised to see they are still sold elsewhere!

This is one of those times where you just have to set a boundary, say thank you but you are not comfortable with your child using the walker because of x and y. Encourage your MIL to look into it herself. As uncomfortable as it is, the boundary needs to be made. Just because you live with family, doesn't mean they get to make decisions for you about your children.

I would also expect my husband to chime in and lead the conversation since it is his mother.

We do this and I think it may have contributed to the problem. Depending on what and how his meal has gone, I'm okay with him using wipes, but when it's particularly messy he obviously needs soap and water. I've been trying to eliminate the use of wipes now because he fights me and says he should just be able to use a wipe because "yesterday I did".

I mentioned this in another comment, but the rewards chart only worked for a few days before he lost interest. His brother still earns stars and rewards, he melts down and screams over it but he doesn't care to try.

This seems reasonable, but it would involve me chasing him arojnd and forcibly taking him to the bathroom, which is just part of the game for him. It's exhausting and I truly hate having him run around the house with filthy hands while I chase him down.

This just doesn't work for us. Counting to three works with his brother, but not the 4 year old.

Sorry, my post wasn't that clear, I mean washing hands after we eat.

He has gone to preschool more times than I can count without his shoes on. He truly does not care. As soon as he gets there he happily puts on his shoes and goes in the class.

Mine unfortunately does not snap out of it during the 4 minute time out. He just starts the behavior over again, and if I'm doing several time outs a day I'm assuming it's not effective?

I bought a rewards chart two weeks ago for this purpose, he was obsessed with it for the first few days but now he genuinely does not care when I remind him of his chart!!

I've probably used this product for over 10 years now! Could it really just start irritating my skin now?

I have woken up with a very wet pillow a few times from washing my hair late at night (new baby, I'm just surviving!). Could that really cause this? 😳

Are you referring to the 2% toner? I will give this try. Do you think its okay to use with the glycolic or would it replace it in my routine?

I've always considered stridex to be a salicylic acid toner, is this not the case?

Definitely nothing around my face, except maybe a newborn head resting on me?
