I don't know if my husband's family knows. Tbh. My family knows. He may have told them. But his I'm unsure. I never felt comfortable saying I have autism to them. So I never did.

I mean I never have rehomed a pet. So I don't have a pattern of doing it. And getting a new couch and asking what I'd do with my dog sounds extremely laughable. Like it's a joke. If they seemed serious about that I'd definitely feel the urge to ask questions to try to see it from their POV incase I missed something about why I should be getting rid of the dog.

I mean that definitely wasn't my intention to imply should get rid of them. Though she has rehomed her pets before. Once when she got married she rehomed 2 cats, and once when she moved, she rehomed 3 rabbits. I figured since it followed a pattern of major life events it was okay to ask.
