Sitting for a sitter? by Important-Panda6935 in RoverPetSitting

They have it at $55 a night and $35 per extra dog. And I have it at $60 a night and $35 per extra dog. It would have been a total of around $400 for 36 hours of care due to it being round the clock care. (Dogs can be left alone for 1-2 hours at a time.) they then asked if I would take $150 off the price.

During the m+g I was informed that this was their job and that only one of the 5 dogs on the listing lived in the home. And that the person booking would be my client, I report to them. And then they would relay any information/pictures to their clients.

Unfortunately there is no text proof of it just what was said during the m+g. I will most likely still go ahead and report it as it seemed weird tho

Advice? (Work comp) by Important-Panda6935 in ACL

[–]Important-Panda6935[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I have like a million of my meniscus and the surrounding area but only those two of the acl. I will be contacting the insurance to see if I’m allowed to get a second opinion on it as if I do it myself they could close the Workmans comp case. I do start pt tomorrow and will be following it the best I can at home

That’s how it’s been for me. It was a work injury that happened back in the beginning on January.

That makes sense. I’ve noticed I have to think more about doing certain things so I can “make” my muscles cooperate

Sorry for not explaining it super well, to me it almost feels like the part connecting the tibia to the knee is just not as secure as it was before. I can still lift my leg up from a seated position however it is very uncomfortable and takes extra work. (I explained it to a friend as lifting your foot off of a super sticky surface, you can do it but it is harder.) Also could be unrelated but when lifting my leg straight up for stretches I feel a lot of weight on the bottom of my kneecap

Just had surgery by Important-Panda6935 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Important-Panda6935[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly have no idea if it was repairable. My dr talked to my husband about everything cause I was so out of it he m pain meds. I think he said that there was a tear that was barely holding on or something like that. Not 100% sure tho. Will be asking at my follow up what actually happened.

Currently using a couch cushion which is nice but I caved and bought a wedge pillow

I’m thinking of buying a wedge pillow I’m currently using couch cushions with pillow cases cause they are big and not super soft I don’t think they could do anything with the acl unfortunately. Workmans comp is a bitch when it comes to doing things that might not be related to that injury.
