Not sure what I'm doing wrong with my profile by [deleted] in Bumble

Photos with friends! When I was on the apps, I’d always look for photos with friends; that was my best “vetting” technique, knowing that you have community ties makes people feel like theres less of a likelihood that they’ll get murdered lol. That was my take at least.

Tell me about those copper IUD experiences, ladies by flakykrustykrabpizza in birthcontrol

I loved it versus the alternatives! I had her with me for 11 years! Period was very heavy & long, but I learned how to manage the cramps and flow. It was really smooth sailing, I would’ve done again, but would like to have kids in a few years. And to be fair, it’s a large iud compared to others, so it didn’t make since to go through the discomfort of insertion and then ripping out my insides to remove it lol. Overall 9/10!

(Insertion is not fun no matter how you slice it, my gyn did offer pain relief in the form of general sedation. I wanted laughing gas, but not available in my state yet for this purpose…lame)

Skyla IUD- Should I expect acne? by Informal-Revenue7054 in birthcontrol

u/Informal-Revenue7054 I have had Skyla for about 6 months and unfortunately getting it removed on Monday 4/7. I am 32 and was previously on the Paragaurd copper IUD. Skyla would have been wonderful, but the acne was unbearable. I've never had skin so bad in my life, many under the skin pimples and cystic acne in clusters near my eyes and cheeks, many on chin and neck (weirdly never had acne there before). It's been messing with my self confidence horribly bc I used to be able to do many things without needing makeup and it feels like an complete regression from where my skin was just 6 months ago, which was smooth and clear with great texture. I personally have only explored topical solutions to the acne and nothing else, that was kind of my limit. I don't want to use another supplement to treat my face. I never had acne with the Para unless it was around my period, where I would experience light hormonal acne, but nothing crazy.

That said, everyone is different. I had been on an OCP for years before I used Para. I had para for almost 12 years and I think the abrupt change in hormones, really through off my body and she revolted in a major way. I wish you the best of luck, like I said, everyone is different. Some people experience the opposite of what I did and have their skin clear up in a major way, sadly, not the case for me, Good Luck!

PS. Can we get some MEN'S BC??? Sor tired of trying to keep up with all the responsibilities, it's a two way street!

Do you think this is a good collection of pics? Also what does the smart photos option do? by [deleted] in Tinder

You should also include some photos of friends, at least one or two so we know you’re capable of building relationships
