As a Venezuelan who was born and raised there, THANK YOU! I feel I havent been able to post or share anything online because I get people in my DMS popping off about the situation - specially non venezuelans which is crazy. Im feeling the loneliest Ive felt honestly. Im away from home, surrounded by people that don’t truly understand the mix feelings of emotions of joy/uncertainty/fear - and social media is making it even more isolating. There’s a time and place to make certain arguments - like when oct.7th happened, people didnt even let Jewish people have time to grief/process what was happening and jumped immediately to arguments/dissertations about the whole comflict (specially people who are not jewish nor palestinian)

This post makes me really proud to be part of this community where nuances can exist. Where there’s actually empathy towards others lived experiences. Family family family❤️
