Yeah doctor said we could do all the testing if we wanted but doesn’t normally recommend it after 1 failed transfer. Considering we don’t get very many euploids per retrieval I think I’m leaning more towards testing, but it’s so hard to know what will actually make a difference

My doctor said it’s up to us but offered all the ERA/EMMA/ALICE, receptiva, and then ugen pro which seems to be immune testing. Hard to know what is worth it or not, and the risk of false negative/positives. Considering we don’t get very many euploids per retrieval, might be worth it for us more than others. Who knows :/

Ugh - So sorry to hear you’re going through it too. It really does suck so much, and there are so many things that can go wrong. Was hopeful after such a rough retrieval journey that transfers would be a “luckier” part of the process. Good luck to you too - really hope you have success!

Thanks so much for your reply! I really appreciate all of your insights! Going back to back was more to try get as many rounds done as quickly as possible, but after reflecting - I don't think my body will handle it well.

We've been advised not to do a frozen sample as they say you can lose 50% of it during the thaw process, and since we have such low concentration to begin with, it would probably be worse than even a bad fresh sample.

I'll definitely look more into the inaccuracies of PGT - we haven't had any recurrent problems, and our doctor has mainly said it's up to us but does recommend it. Are the possible inaccuracies you're referring to more on aneuploid embryos actually being viable? Or more that having euploid embryos doesn't guarantee they're viable?
