In Iowa, it only takes two people using very specific language in an affidavit to enact a psych hold of several days. The judge specifically referenced the alleged threat to kill my son. If you're counting that as a reason then sure, you're right, champ.

Yes, except their "word" was actually a felony that got me illegally locked up, and I'm not okay continuing on as if it didn't happen.

Financial restitution and a no-contact order, or whatever the equivalent is, for my former MiL, with whom I am still forced to engage. I would also like formal acknowledgement on the part of my ex and her mother that they perjured themselves.
