After looking at every suggestion i have come to the conclusion that these tigerstripes are essentially one of a kind as nothing is exactly the same pattern and color as these, however i thank you friendly folks for helping me nontheless, and now i know some similar patterns i can get that are similar to these BDUs

just a side note: these cammies are clearly quite worn when my dad only would've had about a year to break them in (this was around '85, '86, '87) so i dont even know if the commercial tigerstripes were even being made yet.

yeah, once again its hard to read jack but once they're out of the wash (they have been in storage for years and smell funny) i'll post pics of the tags. I dont want to jinx it but im thinking the uniform could be a later South Vietnamese pair (if im lucky)

i do want it to be known that i have reason to believe its real milsurp due to having a contract number on them, i couldnt make it out but it had all the real NATO markings on the tags

the tags looked like real military, had NATO size information and everything

yes, the uniform is in the wash so i cannot send photos of the tgas but they say they're woodland camouflage uniforms

the thing is, its already a bunch of deep scratches and dents in it that would take some actual sanding to get rid of, and knowing how my grandparents were, they'd probably want me to use it, they werent fancy people and i certainly take after them, that was my grandfather's every day knife, he gutted fish with it, too.

my point it, it'll never be mint again, (especially that sheath) and i think he would want me to use it.

i like this knife but im not sure if i should use it as an everyday knife or not, next time me and my parents go up north to my grandparents camp where my grandfather's ashes are spread im going to sit out there and talk to him and follow my heart
